Evidence: Job interview

Imagine you are applying for a new job. Below you will find some common job
interview questions. For this evidence, you have to record yourself while you
answer them. Dress up. Look professional. Pay attention to your body language.
Show you really want to get that job. Remember to use the grammar structures
and vocabulary you have practiced within this learning activity.

1. If you could start your career over again, what would you do differently?

R/ If I could start my career again I would have focused on learning languages so

that I could open doors in other countries

R/ In my performance evaluations, the criticism that I always hear is that I try to

collaborate on many things instead of focusing on just one

R/ I was a commercial manager of a very important restaurant chain

R/ be very responsible and give everything in what I do

R/ I have learned more in my work I have met very important people who have

helped me to improve as a professional

R/ The person who trained me is an excellent person and professional, he is very

capable

7. What were the most memorable accomplishments in your last position?

R/ I managed to increase sales by 15% and opened three branches in Barranquilla

8. Why do you want to leave your current job?

R/ because I want to learn something new and I like challenges

9. In your previous position, how much time did you spend learning how to do
things better?

R/ I have always been in different trainings and that way I managed to overcome

all obstacles
10. If you’re very happy with your current job, why do you want to leave?

R/ I like to try new things and expand professionally
