Purpose

The purpose of this workbook is to assist storage architects in understanding the impact of the network pipe
on possible replication performance. The numbers in this spreadsheet do not guarantee the results calculated
with this tool. It does give a fair assessment of what is possible, if other bottlenecks are removed.

Variables that affect replication performance that are not included in this worksheet include:
* Filer Head
* Disk drive type
* Disk drive configuration
* Number of small files (VSM)
* Network Latency due to distance of remote storage appliance
