Course targets The students should get an overview of the tourism- and hospitality
relevant macro-systems and markets. It should be understood the
demarcation and meaning of the tourism economy. It provides an
overview of the tourism players, as well as the industry structure.
The position of tourism in society as an important part of welfare is
discussed early in the course of study, to allow for classification
into later scheduled study content.

The students should have a wide range of tourist industry


knowledge and gain knowledge of the hospitality industry.
Complex connections between players and markets should also be
understood, interactions assessed and comprehensive transfer
services provided.

offer and demand side, tourist markets, introduction to
management in the hospitality industry at a glance:

tourism policy, e-commerce & e-business, transport management,


travel distribution, hotel industry, tour operator management,
sustainability, destination management, leisure market, tourism
marketing
