PROJECT – STAGE 1 “An unusual and an unforgettable experience at university”

MY FIRST DAY ON CAMPUS

I am a shy person when it comes to interacting with new people and more if it is
your first day in college. I remember I had to catch the rain to get there, when I got
to the station, I met two girls that I had met in the induction courses and we left
talking, we said we were looking forward to starting the race and in turn we talked
about our lives, our tastes, family, and things in common.

It was a common day in Bogota, very cold, cloudy sky, all on the train well
sheltered, arriving in Cajica where the campus is located, I was surprised at how
big it looked in just the entrance, I was afraid because I didn’t know how the
different buildings were distributed, where the classrooms, bathrooms, cafeteria
and so on were located, luckily, I was with my two friends and another guy we met
on the train. We looked for the building where we were going to have our first class
which was programming (1), it was quick class, the teacher was very nice, after
this we had a break of one hour, so we went to eat to enter with the energy to the
other two classes we had.

After finishing our two remaining classes for the day, we made our way to the train
and while waiting for it to start, we ate ice cream and talked about our day and our
expectations for the university career.

It is an unforgettable experience as it was my first day at the college and on

campus, I met many people and made new friends, I could say that it was
absolutely one the best days in my life.
