IGNORANCE

SYNOPSIS:   A girl (4 years) with the syndrome of COLOR

BLINDNESS is often ignored by the two tediously working parents. Often
(weekdays) the girl is guarded by the housekeeper.
  
    
DIWALI EVE 

Since it was Diwali Eve, the housekeeper gets the 2-month salary in
advance from the mother stating that her daughter is sick and gets a
week's holiday since both the parents are at leave and decided to spend
time with his daughter.

 SAME DAY - NIGHT 

Wife arguing with her husband that she had to attend her best friend's
birthday party and asking him to cook tonight for him and daughter. Her
husband unpleasing accepting the words from his wife and asks her to
come early tonight.
She left.

He sees his daughter coloring a COLOR BOOK. And he interrupted her

and plays with her stating that this full week he is going to enjoy with my
daughter to the fullest. And the daughter said in a sad tone," Then, After
one week," ( Her facial expressions and tone indicates that she is longing
for the parent's love). Father just smiled at her and asked does she feeling
hungry. She responded with a yes happily.
Her father accompanied the daughter to the kitchen.

  AT THE KITCHEN

Her father asks her daughter to get him a carrot from the fridge. As she
was not fond of many vegetables, she asked her dad what color it will be.
He responded "Orange". But she picked up a vegetable which was green in
color.

The Dad got tensed up as he doesn't know well how to cook and got
irritated by the daughter's act. He scolded her.

She kept on weeping and slept in a sofa. He tried to convince her, but all
goes in vain. Both of them slept with a hungry stomach.

 MOTHER RETURNS
She noticed that the girl was sleeping on the sofa, she kissed her on the
forehead.
She also noticed the Color Book which she was coloring. He saw that her
daughter had colored a bright red color for the leaves in a tree. Then
she prepared dinner for both of them.

After a few days, the daughter felt an enormous pain the head and she
fainted.
They took her to the hospital.

The doctor investigated the child's condition and reported that she was
suffering from TYPE II - COLOR BLINDNESS SYNDROME. And he said
that it could have been completely cured and treated when she was 2 years
old. Now it's impossible.

Parents were in shock that they were not able to raise a child properly.

YOU DO IF YOUR PARENTS LEFT YOU IN THIS SITUATION.
