11) The average marks of the pre-university students is 68.4 and that of the degree
students is 71.2.if the combined average of all the students is 70,find the percentage
of students in the pre-university and degree classes.

12) Candidates obtained the following marks in a PU examination: English-60,


Kannada-50,Physics-80,Chemistry-70,Maths-90 and Biology-70. A mission to a
science institute is based on weighted mean of the marks scored, where weights for
