COMMISSIONING PROCEDURE FOR O.

F ALARM SYSTEM SYSTEM

1. System configuration

The level alarm sensor consists of magnetic float and reed switch built in the pipe.
When the liquid level reaches a set point, the reed switch is actuated by magnetic float.
This signal is connected to alarm unit through safety barrier. At the same time, we can
get audible and visible alarm on the main control panel as well as external alarm on
the bridge top.

2. COMMISSIONING PROCEDURE

Following points shall be checked during commissioning.

1 Check the working using the test device fixed on
local alarm switch after supply power source.
2 Check the power source.

3 Check the output signal on external horn & warning


light.
4 Each cable should be confirmed satisfactory
connection polarity(+,-) between each level alarm
sensor and corresponded tank in monitoring panel.
5 Each float should be positioned at suitable place and
no obstruction should be confirmed on guide pipe
throughout moving float.
