    ADVERBIAL CLAUSES

    TIME CLAUSES:

    1. WHEN: when midnight came, Cinderella disappeared into the darkness.


    2. WHENEVER: whenever anyone else came and asked Cinderella to dance, He said: "She is my dance
    partner."
    3. WHILE: while she was crying, she saw a beautiful fairy standing near her.

    4. AS: As Cinderella was growing up, her father thought that she ought to have someone to look after
    her.

    5. UNTIL: until Cinderella made a trial on the glass slipper, the prince did not recognize her.

    6. BEFORE: before Cinderella get engaged with the prince, her stepsisters laughed at her and called
    her a fool.

    7. AS SOON AS: as soon as the stepsisters had gone to the ball, Cinderella’s fairy godmother appeared
    and gave her a beautiful dress and gold coach.

    8. AFTER: the prince found himself madly in love with Cinderella after he saw her moving gracefully
    during the dancing
