GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Espero mobile partitions efficiently divide space with the utmost ease and flexibility. Whether the requirement is
acoustics, aesthetics, ease of use or cost effectiveness Espero has the answer.

The Sonico is the top of the Espero range of products. These partitions consist of composite panels suspended from the top
track by means of multiple-wheel trolleys moving the panels along without the need of a floor track. The panels can be
finished in virtually any material used in interior design. Lacquered in any colour, high quality wood veneers, hard plastics,
melamine, etc.

A partition is made up of a variety of different panels:

(1) The basic panel, of which there are usually a number, has no special function other than its interlocking and sealing
operation. Sound isolating pressurised seals at the top and bottom of the panel are operated by a removable lever key on
the inner edge of the panel.

(2) The functional panel is a basic panel with a special function. There are numerous possibilities of adapting the basic
panels to specific situations, making the Sonico flexible and adaptable. The most commonly used functional panels are:
door panel (DP), double door panel (DDP), glass or vision panel (GP) and basic panels with built-on corner (BPH) allowing
one panel to seal onto another at any angle.

(3) The closing panel is the panel that is necessary to complete the horizontal closure of the wall. This is the last panel to be
put into position. This is either the telescopic panel (TP) or communication panel (KP), see below for description:

The telescopic panel (TP) has the same top and bottom seals as the basic panel. In addition it has a full-height operable
seal completing the total closure of the partition. A removable lever key with the concealed hole on the face of the telescopic
panel operates the top/bottom seal as well as the vertical seal in a single, easy movement. The patented “Espero Quick
System” ensures that the partition is completely sealed on all sides.

The communication panel (KP), which needs no wheel trolleys, eliminates the need for a door panel and telescopic panel
and is therefore a very efficient alternative. The hinged communication panel is fixed on one side directly to the wall post. It
operates therefore as a full height pass door, closing against the rebated basic panel (AP) next to it. The communication
panel has pressure seals on the top and bottom. These seals are automatically operated when the communication panel is
opened or closed. The maximum partition height for this option is 2500mm.

All panels, with exception of the communication panel, are suspended from the top track by means of multiple-wheel
trolleys. The Sonico has two systems, the 1-point and the 2-point suspension system, which should be selected according to
the requirements of the client.

The 1-point suspension system consists of a single trolley of vertically rolling wheels located in the top centre of the panel.
The wheels run in an aluminium track and the panels can only be stacked at either the left or the right of the run.

The 2-point suspension system consists of two sets of two horizontally mounted wheels. This extremely efficient system
allows the panels to be multi-directional and they can be parked anywhere the clients wishes.

Depending on the size and weight of the panels an upper construction with sufficient strength and rigidity is required.

The top track will be fixed to this upper construction completely level by Espero. At the same time the side and floor
alignment must be sufficiently level and plumb.
