Dear sir / madam ,

Requesting for terminating gym membership due to COVID-19

I would like to request for the termination of my membership from the gym branched at Sunway
Pyramid . I am desire to take the following action due to the Covid-19 pandemic therefore I may not
be able to participate in the gym . I have paid RM 2000 for the annual membership but however I was
not able to fully utilise and use the membership that I have signed up January 1 to December 2020 .
However , from June 2020 onwards I am allowed to use the gym again with obeying the SOP orders
that the government has imposed .

Although the gym has been an excellent place to be associated , and has been a right place for sport
and health facilities . Some of the gym members also heedlessly breaching the SOPs orders . As
mentioning , many failed to follow the essential duties of physical distancing , washing hands often
and using hand sanitisers before and after utilising the gym equipment .

Thus , I take this as one of my justification , as contaminated hands may transfer the virus to your
body through wiping off the sweats with hands . In addition there also handful of them not providing
accurate information hence this enable them to track them . Far as a responsible citizen , I take the
movements serious and furthering my pronouncements . As per the contract , I am required to give
notice two week prior and I believed I have done so .

I would thus request you to please cancel my membership and process my refund of part payment .
Kindly confirm the termination soonest possible by return mail . Thank you .
