SURAH FAJR

َٰ ْ ‫ﱠ ﱠ‬
‫ﱠ‬ ِ ‫ِﺑ ْﺴ ِﻢ‬
 ‫ اﻟﺮﺣﻤ ِﻦ اﻟﺮ ِﺣ ِﻴﻢ‬/‫ا‬
ْ َْ َ
1 ,By the dawn‫وٱﻟﻔﺠ ِﺮ‬
ْ7 َ َ ََ
2 .ten8 ٍ ‫ﻋ‬And the nights‫وﻟﻴ ٍﺎل‬
َْْ َ ْ ‫ﱠ‬
3 ,and the odd‫وٱﻟﻮﺗ ِﺮ‬And the even‫َوٱﻟﺸﻔ ِﻊ‬
َ
ْ ‫ﻳ‬when‫ا‬ َ ْ ‫َو ﱠٱﻟ‬
.it passes8 ِ ‫ذ‬ ‫إ‬And
ِ ‫ﱢ‬ the night ‫ﻞ‬ ‫ﻴ‬

ْ ٌ َ َ َ K ْ َ
5 ?for those who understand‫ﻟ ِﺬى ِﺣﺠ ٍﺮ‬an oath‫ﻗﺴﻢ‬that‫ذ ِٲﻟﻚ‬inLIs ِ ‫ﻫﻞ‬
َ َ ‫َ ﱡ‬ َ َ َ َ ْ َ َ َ ْ ََ
6 ,with Aad‫ﺑﻌ ٍﺎد‬your ِ Lord‫رﺑﻚ‬dealt‫ﻓﻌﻞ‬how‫ﻛﻴﻒ‬you see‫ﺗﺮ‬Do not‫أﻟﻢ‬
َ ْ َ ََ
7 ,possessors of lofty pillars‫ات ٱﻟ ِﻌﻤ ِﺎد‬ ِ ‫ذ‬Iram‫ِإرم‬
َ ْ K َ ‫ﻣ ْﺜ ُﻠ‬had been created‫ﻳ ْﺨ َﻠ ْﻖ‬not ُ ‫ﻟ ْﻢ‬Which َ ‫ﱠ‬
8 ,the cities‫ٱﻟ ِﺒﻠٰـ ِﺪ‬inLlike ِ them‫ﺎ‬ ‫ﻬ‬ ِ c b ِ ‫ٱﻟ‬
َْ َ ْ ‫ﱠ‬ ْ ُ َ َ ‫ﱠ‬ َ ُ ََ

in the‫ﺑﭑﻟﻮ ِاد‬the ِ rocks‫ٱﻟﺼﺨﺮ‬carved out‫ﺟﺎﺑﻮا‬who‫ٱﻟ ِﺬﻳﻦ‬,And Thamud‫وﺛﻤﻮد‬
,valley
ََْْ َ َ
10 ?owner of stakes‫ذى ٱﻷوﺗ ِﺎد‬,And ِ Firaun‫َو ِﻓ ْﺮﻋ ْﻮن‬
ٰ َ ْ K ْْ َ َ َ ‫ﱠ‬
11 ,the lands‫ٱﻟ ِﺒﻠـ ِﺪ‬inLtransgressed ِ ‫ﻃﻐﻮا‬Who‫ٱﻟ ِﺬﻳﻦ‬
َ َ َ ْ َ ْ ُ َl ْ َ َ
12 .corruption‫ٱﻟﻔﺴﺎد‬therein‫ﻓﻴﻬﺎ‬And ِ made much‫وا‬m‫ﻓﺄ ﻛ‬
ََ َ ْ َ َ ‫َ ﱡ‬ ْ ْ ََ ‫ﱠ‬ َ َ

of‫اب‬ ٍ ‫ﻋﺬ‬scourge‫ﺳﻮط‬your Lord‫رﺑﻚ‬on them‫ﻋﻠﻴ ِﻬﻢ‬So poured‫ﻓﺼﺐ‬
.punishment
ْ َ َ َ ‫ﱠ‬
.is surely Ever Watchful‫ﻟ ِﺒﭑﻟ ِﻤﺮﺻ ِﺎد‬your Lord‫ر ﱠﺑﻚ‬,Indeed
َ ْ
14 ‫ِإن‬
ُ َ َْ ََ ُ ‫َ ﱡ‬ ُ َٰ َ ْ َ َ ُ ٰ َ ْ ‫ﱠ‬ ََ
and‫ﻓﺄ ﻛﺮﻣﻪۥ‬his Lord‫رﺑﻪۥ‬tries َ him‫ٱﺑﺘﻠـﻪ‬when‫إذا ﻣﺎ‬,man ِ ‫ٱﻹﻧﺴـﻦ‬And ِ as for‫ﻓﺄﻣﺎ‬
ُ
ُ ‫ﻓ َﻴﻘ‬,and favors him‫وﻧ ﱠﻌ َﻤ ُﻪۥ‬is َ
My`{ٓ ‫ ﱢ‬z ‫ر‬,he
َ َ generous to him
15 says‫ﻮل‬ َْ
`.has honored me‫أ ﻛﺮﻣ ِﻦ‬Lord َ َ
ُ َْ ْ ََ َ َ ََ ُ َٰ َ ْ َ َ ٓ‫ََﱠ‬
his‫رزﻗﻪۥ‬for ِ him‫ﻋﻠﻴ ِﻪ‬and restricts ‫ﻓﻘﺪر‬He tries him‫ٱﺑﺘﻠـﻪ‬when‫ﺎ‬ ‫إذا ﻣ‬But ِ ‫وأﻣﺎ‬
َK K ٰ َ َ ُ َ
`.has humiliated me~ِ ‫أﻫـ‬My Lord`{ٓ ‫ ﱢ‬z ‫ر‬then َ ُ ‫ﻓ َﻴﻘ‬,provision
16
he says‫ﻮل‬
َ ‫ٱﻟ َﻴﺘ‬you ْ َ ُ ُْ ‫ﱠ‬ َ ‫َﱠ‬
17 ,the orphan‫ﻴﻢ‬ ِ honor ‫ﻮن‬ ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﺮ‬
ِ ‫ﻜ‬ ‫ﺗ‬not ‫ﻻ‬But‫ﻞ‬ ‫!ﺑ‬Nayۖ ‫ﻼ‬‫ﻛ‬

ْ ْ َ َ ََٰ َ ‫َ َ ٰٓ ﱡ‬ ََ
18 K
.the poor~ِ ƒ ‫ٱﻟ ِﻤﺴ ِﻜ‬feed‫ﻃﻌ ِﺎم‬to„‫ﻋ‬you feel the urge‫ﺗﺤـﻀﻮن‬And not‫وﻻ‬
‡ ‫َْ ً ﱠ‬ َ َ ‫ﱡ‬b َ ُ ُ َْ َ

devouring‫أ ﻛﻼ ﻟﻤﺎ‬the inheritance‫اث‬m‫ٱﻟ‬And you consume‫وﺗﺄ ﻛﻠﻮن‬
,altogether
َ ُ ْ َ ُ
20 .exceeding‫ﺟ ‡ﻤﺎ‬with love‫ﺣ ‡ﺒﺎ‬wealth َ ‫ٱﻟ َﻤ‬And
‫ﺎل‬ you love‫َوﺗ ِﺤ ﱡﺒﻮن‬
‡َ ‡َ َْ
ُ ‫ٱﻷ ْر‬is ‫ُﱠ‬ َ ٓ‫َﱠ‬

pounded and‫دﻛﺎ دﻛﺎ‬,the earth‫ض‬ leveled‫دﻛ ِﺖ‬When‫!إذا‬Nay ِ ‫ﻼ‬ ‫ﻛ‬
,crushed
‡ ‡ َ ُ َ ْ َ َ َ ٓ

rank upon‫ﺻﻔﺎ َﺻﻔﺎ‬,and the Angels‫وٱﻟ َﻤﻠﻚ‬your Lord‫ر ﱡﺑﻚ‬And comes‫َو َﺟﺎ َء‬
,rank
‫َََ ﱠ‬ َ
َ ‫ﻳ ْﻮ‬.Hellۚ َ ‫ﺑ َﺠ َﻬ ﱠﻨ‬,that Day‫ﻳ ْﻮ َﻣﺌﺬ‬,And
َ َ ‫َوﺟ ْﺎ ٓى‬
will‫ﻳﺘﺬﻛ ُﺮ‬That Day ‫ﺬ‬ ‫ﺌ‬
ٍِ ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﻢ‬ is brought ‫ء‬
ٰ َ ْ ‫ﱢ‬ َُ ِ ‫ ٰﱠ‬K َ َ ِۭ ِ ُ ٰ َ ْ ِ
23 the‫ٱﻟﺬﻛﺮى‬will be for him‫ﻟﻪ‬but how{‫وأ‬,man‫ٱﻹﻧﺴـﻦ‬remember ِ
?remembrance
b َ َ ُ ْ ‫َﱠ‬ K َ ْ َ َٰ ُ ‫َﻳ ُﻘ‬
24 `.for my life{‫ﻟﺤﻴ ِﺎ‬Iِ had sent forth‫ﻗﺪﻣﺖ‬O! I wish`cِ ‫ﻳـﻠﻴﺘ‬,He will say‫ﻮل‬
ٓ ُ َ ََ ُ ‫َُ ﱢ‬ ‫ﱠ‬ َ ْ َ َ
as His‫ﻋﺬاﺑﻪۥ‬,will punish‫ﻳﻌﺬ َب‬not‫ﻻ‬So that Day‫ﻓﻴﻮﻣ ِﺌ ٍﺬ‬
ٌ
.anyone‫أ َﺣﺪ‬punishment

ٌ َ َ ٓ ُ َ ََ ُ ُ ََ
26 .anyone‫أﺣﺪ‬as His binding‫وﺛﺎﻗﻪۥ‬will bind‫ﻮﺛﻖ‬ ِ ‫ﻳ‬Andَ ٓ not‫وﻻ‬
ُ‫ُْ ْ َ ﱠ‬ ْ
ُ ‫ٱﻟﻨﻔ‬ ‫َٰ ﱠ ُ َ ﱠ‬
27 ,who is satisfied‫!ٱﻟﻤﻄﻤ ِﺌﻨﺔ‬O soul`‫ﺲ‬ ‫ﻳـﺄﻳﺘﻬﺎ‬
ً ً َ •ٰ َ ‫إ‬Return–
28 .and pleasing‫ﻣ ْﺮ ِﺿ ﱠﻴﺔ‬,well ‫ﱠ‬ pleased‫ر ِاﺿ َﻴﺔ‬your َ Lord‫ر ﱢﺑ ِﻚ‬to ِ
ٓ ِ ‫ْٱرﺟ‬
ِ
K enter„‫ﻓﭑدﺧ‬ ُ ْ َ
29 ,My slaves‫ﻋ َﺒٰـ ِﺪى‬among
ِ LSo ِ ِ
‫ﱠ‬b َ ُ ْ َ
30 `.My Paradisecِ ‫ﺟﻨ‬And enter„ِ ‫وٱدﺧ‬
