Feasibility Study:

Feasibility study is carried out to determine whether any given project is technically feasible or
economically worth of investing. Project chance of success depends can be determined by
conducting feasibility study. There are different types of feasibility study and we conducted all
types of study in our project to determine feasibility of our project.

4.1 Technical Feasibility: we have conducted technical feasibility study of our project which
focuses whether it is feasible to deliver our product or service to the required location or not. In
order to make the project technically feasible, required labor, transportation, technology and
communication device etc can be easily available to the project location. We have planned to
assign project manager, system analyst, and software engineer for the project. In regard to the
transportation of required machinery, it can be easily arranged as there are no hurdles for
accessibility. In regard to technology, we will use database management system for storing all
the records and computer desktop for hardware requirements. Availability of smart phone will
ease the communication process As, current clinic management though done manually have
educated manpower that can use computerized system with certain amount of training and
technical support from our side, it is technically feasible to implement our project.

4.2 Economic Feasibility: In this mode of study, we will study the economic condition of our
client, whether they have enough income to pay for the cost that may incur while implementing
the new system. Also, we will analyze the benefit that we can offer to them with the additional
expenses they have to make while using clinic management system software. It was made due
consideration of the fact that benefit outweigh the economic cost with the new system so that it
will be possible to achieve long term gain with the short term cost. From study in all fonts, we
came to conclusion that project is economically feasible.

4.3 Schedule Feasibility: In this study, we will analyze whether the project will be completed
within a given timeframe that was allotted to us. It must be considered that before completion of
project, schedule feasibility must guarantee that technology does not become outdated and
pointless. We have prepared project scheduling using project management tools and accordingly
set out target and action plan. Further, as our all team members are dedicated to deliver the
service to the client within the timeframe, we are highly optimistic about achieving schedule
feasibility of the project.

4.4 Operational Feasibility: Every company while implementing new system expect some
beneficial aspect for improving their business prospect and system can be used effectively in
achieving business goals. In order to solve the existing problems and take benefit from the
system and minimize errors, it is required to have certain amount of knowledge and skills of
using the program. For this reason, it is mandatory to identify operational feasibility of the
project with proper interaction with the staffs about their knowledge of handling the system that
is offered to them and limitation of understanding technology. So, to access whether the new
system will meet the requirement of client in managing clinic effectively and produce fruitful
outcome, we use the PIECES framework approach.

4.4.1 PIECES Framework: It will help in identifying the operational issues that need to be
understood clearly and resolve accordingly. It takes into consideration in identifying issues on
existing system as well intended system and prepare checklist for taking corrective action.
PIECES can be elaborated as:

P-Performance

I-Information

E-Economy

C-Control

E-Efficiency

S-Services

4.4.2 Performance: As current system of clinic management is manual, it is quite cumbersome

to access the data whenever required. With the implementation of new system, all the data is
stored using database management system so that it will be easier to store and retrieve the
information as per the requirement. Hustle faced by doctors, nurses and other medical staff will
reduce to great extent with this new system and in less time they can access the patients
information, sales report and medicine inventory can be managed efficiently. Also, the patients
will not have to wait long hours due to time lost in finding their records.

4.4.3 Information: It will be helpful for the client end doctors, nurse and patient to achieve
organized which was not incase in existing system. There is a provision of storing all the data in
database in new system so that data security can be achieved without fear of losing any data and
required information.

4.4.4 Economics: In the current system of clinic management, it is difficult to identify whether
they will have benefit or loss which has caused lots of cost in financial achievement of clinic.
The new system is helpful in understanding all the costs that is required during the course of
investment and accordingly set the goals of financial achievement.

4.4.5 Control: Information and data are secured in new system so that control can be achieved
against any fraudulent activity. All the records and data in new clinic management system are
stored in database by providing certification of storing of data and document. So, any
misappropriation will not be possible and redundancies will be minimized.

4.4.6 Efficiency: It is very difficult to acquired important data from large chunk of information
in manual system as data redundancy and data inconsistency is prevalent in existing system. In
the current system, data acquisition is quite easily and data handling can be done in effective
manner as all the records are stored in database management system.

4.4.7 Services: Current system does not provide great services to the customer as it takes lot of
time registering patient details resulting in the long waiting list of patients. With the new system,
data is stored in computerized system so that it will be easier to find the patients details and can
provide better service to the patients.
