SUBJECT : Advisory on the Enrolment of TESDA Trainers into the LTO

Driving School Portal

DATE 26 July 2021

1. In line with the implementation of the TESDA and LTO Memorandum of

Agreement, the LTO successfully trained a total of 269 out of the 286 TESDA
Trainers during the conduct of the virtual Training of Trainers on Theoretical
Driving Course from June 22 to July 9, 2021. The completers have to pass the
written examination that will be conducted by the LTO Regional Offices. It
shall be noted that the LTO Regional Offices will coordinate with the TESDA
Trainers on the schedule of their written exam. After which, they will be
enrolled in the Driving School Portal.

2. To guide the TESDA Trainers in the accreditation process of TTIs and its
Assessors-Instructors as government driving schools like LTO Drivers
Education Centers and LTO accredited lecturer to conduct lecture on
Theoretical Driving Course (TDC) and Practical Driving Course, they have to
comply with the following LTO requirements:
a. Filled-out Trainer's Profile through google sheet for validation purposes:

b. Valid NTTC in Driving NC II or Automotive Servicing NC II, or other NTTC
relative to driving;
c. Valid Professional Driver's License;
d. No apprehension/alarm for the past 12 months;
e. Completed the Trainer's Training for the conduct of TDC; and
f. Passed the written examination to be conducted by LTO Regional Offices.

3. Once the aforementioned requirements are complied, TESDA TTI and its
Assessors shall be endorsed to the Management Information Division (MID)
of LTO for enrollment to the Driving School Portal. Once the MID confirmed to
TSD that the TTIs and Assessors have been enrolled in the portal, TSD shall
email the Assessors for the verification of their account. The system allowed

 the Assessors to verify their account within five (5) days only. If the Assessor
failed to verify his/her account, he/she has to inform the LTO-TSD so they can
consult the MID. Assessors who have successfully verified their account will
receive a guide on how to upload the TDC Certificate of Completion.

4. Relative to this, all accredited TTIs and TESDA Trainers implementing the
enhanced CBC in Driving NC II and NC III programs are directed to issue
TDC Certificate of Completion to the learners/students using the attached
template after completing the learning session and passing the institutional
assessment for the module on Theoretical Driving. The Certificate of
Completion shall be uploaded into the LTO Driving School Portal. Attached is
the guide for enrolment of Certificate of Completion for TDC.

5. In addition, you are hereby reminded to ensure standard delivery of the

enhanced training program as mentioned in Memorandum No. 238, s. 2021.

corporate email (@tesda.gov.ph).

6. Further, LTO Regional Offices will directly coordinate with the private TVIs
and its Assessor-Instructors for the conduct of training of trainers on TDC and
accreditation thereof.
