Your Vibration Is Everything


When it comes to living intentionally and manifesting your dream life,
keeping your vibration high is EVERYTHING. It’s impossible to attract
positive things to you when you are vibrationally in the dumps. It
makes sense, doesn’t it?

I mean, you can do all the best manifesting tricks in the world, but if
your vibration is off, you’re not going to get very far.

The thing is, we are bombarded with stress from all angles all the
time.

With so many things vying for our attention all at once, it’s easy to let
our vibration slip without realizing it. Then, before you know it, you’re
in a downward spiral, attracting more of what you don’t want.
Yikes!

Sometimes there are things you can do to help you keep your vibes at
a more elevated level in general. But what about when you’re hit with
something, and you need to make a shift immediately?

Here are 10 tips to help you pull yourself out of a low vibrational state,

1- Start Naming Things That You Love

You’ve heard it before time and time again, I’m sure, that gratitude is
the key to feeling good, right? Well, when you need to raise your
vibration immediately, you don’t have time to write a list of things to be
grateful for.
So, what do you do instead?

You literally fly off the top of your head and start naming things that
you absolutely love. One after the other.
I got this tip from the fantastic Sonia Choquette, in her book Trust
Your Vibes, and let me tell you it really works.
It goes something like this:
Say you’re feeling really low and just blah… maybe you missed the
train to work, and you’re going to be late, so you’re stressed out,
feeling rushed, don’t know if you’ll be in trouble when you get to work.

Stop right there, and immediately start naming (out loud if you can) all
the things you just love.
You say, “I love the smell of the rain in the morning. I really love a hot
cup of coffee to get my day started. When I wrap my body in a fresh,
warm towel fresh from the dryer after a shower, that’s so cozy,”… and
so on and so on.
This raises your vibration immediately and gets you feeling good in a
way that few other things can so authentically and in such record time.
 

2- Start Describing What You See

Another tip from Sonia Choquette, in her book, Trust Your


Vibes,  that helps tame wild, anxious thoughts straight away is to stop
whatever you’re doing and describe in the most robust detail possible,
what it is that you see.
Whatever is right in front of you, just start describing it in detail.

For example, you’re at work, and you’re stressed over a deadline. Sit
in your office chair and just describe what’s on your desk.

“Right in front of me is my computer screen… the frame is black, and


on the screen is a blue windows desktop background. To the right of
the computer screen is a black stapler, and next to that is a small wire
paperclip holder with seven silver paperclips in it…”.

The benefit here is it is a pattern interrupter. If you’re thinking about


what you see in front of you, your mind zones in and focuses on
that… not the anxiety-provoking drama.

3- Say “Thank You” Out Loud To The Universe

Third, you can simply use “thank you” as a mantra and say it over and
over again to the universe. You don’t have to get specific and say
what you’re thankful for even. Though that’s helpful.

It’s enough just to say, “Thank you. Thank you, Universe”. Over and
over again.

It’s calming and will definitely raise your vibration.

4- Breathe, and Smile

The next super simple vibration-raising technique I’d like to share is


the “breathe and smile” approach.

Even when we don’t feel happy, smiling on purpose has an effect on


our minds that tricks us into thinking we’re happy. So, you can totally
be happy because you’ve smiled. You don’t always have to
smile because you’re happy.
To do this, just take a few deep breaths, relax your shoulders, and
center yourself. Then, smile. Very gently, at first. You don’t have to
get all crazy with it. Just inhale, then exhale with a gentle upturn in
your mouth and a twinkle in your eye – as a genuine smile would be.

Repeat this for several rounds, and you’ll start to feel better pretty
quickly.

5- Play Uplifting Music & Sing-Along

If you’re able to do so, play uplifting music and sing or dance along.
This is an instant vibration-lifter!

6- Go Outside, Preferably In Nature

Nature is exceptionally healing, soothing, and grounding. And since


nature has the perfect vibration, immersing yourself in nature will help
your body match the vibration around you.

If you can take off your shoes and dig your feet into the grass, sand,
water, or dirt, even better! But just being in the presence of sunlight,
natural water, plants, trees, and/or fresh air will elevate your mood,
raise your vibration, and shift your perspective.

7- Have A Drink Of Water

Much of the time, when we feel a little off, it can be remedied by


drinking water. Dehydration can occur within as few as 15 minutes of
no water. So, can you imagine how stressed out and run-down you
might be if it’s been an hour or more since you had some water?
If you’re feeling a little low, remove yourself from whatever situation
that’s causing you the distress, go grab some water, breathe and
drink.

You’ll feel much better in no time.

8- Splash Some Cold Water On Your Face

If you have the ability, go to the bathroom and splash some cold water
on your face. The shock factor of this will shift your focus and give you
something else to think about rather than whatever is stressing you.

This is definitely an instant vibration-raiser.

9- Give Someone A Compliment

Good feelings beget good feelings. If you want to raise your vibration,
do something to raise the vibration of someone else.
Go do something kind for someone. This will benefit both them and
you.

The easiest thing you can do is probably going to be giving a


compliment. Make sure it’s a genuine compliment, though. People can
tell falseness a mile away, and this will actually lower your vibration.
Be genuinely and authentically beautiful.
 

10- Do A Quick Breathing Meditation

Finally, you can do a quick box breathing meditation to raise your


vibes.
It goes like this:
1. Breathe in for 4 seconds
2. Hold for 4 seconds
3. Exhale for 4 seconds
4. Hold for 4 seconds
Repeat this four times.

Final Thoughts On Raising Your Vibes

“Good vibes only” has been a thing in recent times. And while it may
sound good, it’s not the natural state of things, and can be hard to
achieve.

Rather than striving for the elusive idea of only feeling positive and
happy all the time, it’s more important to have a set of tools in your
toolbox to help you raise your vibration when it – inevitably – falls.
