1. Reference:

a. Radio message spot report with Cite Number: R9C-0404-41.

b. Memorandum spot report re: mauling, hacking and stabbing incident dated March 7, 2015.

c. Progress report dated July 8, 2017.

2. On or about 9:20 o’clock in the evening of June 24, 2017 at Purok dos Barangay Pines,
Oroquieta City, Misamis Occidental, one Jessy Dela Santos y Amorsolo of legal age and resident of said
place was mauled then hacked but missed by his live-in partner identified as Alonson Osco y Pangan, 38
years old, resident of Barangay Pines, Oroquieta City, temporarily residing at said place with the use of a
knife.
3. Immediately upon receipt of the report, PNP elements of Oroquieta City Police Station led by
PO2 Samuel Sultan Suerez, PO2 Allan Panuncillo Damili and PO2 Dexter Visande Cañales proceeded to
the place of incident to conduct ocular inspection and investigation over the case. Initial investigation
disclosed that suspect Allan Ancapwhile under the influence of intoxicating liquor, arrived home and
with no apparent provocation mauled then hacked her live-in partner Jessy Dela Santos y Amorsolo but
missed. Then and there, victim ran towards the nearby house of his relative indentified as Virgelio
Amorsolo and asked for assistance but chased by the suspect and upon reaching at the house of Virgelio
Amorsolo, a heated argument ensued between the suspect and the daughter of Virgelio Amorsolo
identified as Analyn Amorsolo. During their heated altercation, suspect punched then hacked Analyn
Amorsolo hitting on the right Hand resulting Analyn Amorsolo stumbled to the ground unconsciously.
Virgelio Amorsolo (father of Analyn Amorsolo), who saw the incident, took a bladed weapon and
stabbed Alonso Osco several times.

4. Suspect Virgelio Amorsolo was arrested by the responding team and subsequently brought to
Dipolog City Police Station for proper case disposition while victim Analyn Amorsolo and Alonso Osco
were brought immediately to Oroquieta Medical Center for immediate medical treatment but two (2)
days after, Alonso Osco was died while Analyn Amorsolo survived and now in stable condition.
 5. A case for Homicide under Article 249 of the Revised Penal Code has already been filed at the
City Prosecutors Office against the suspect Virgelio Amorsolo under I.S. No. IX-09-INV-14F-001 and
subsequently filed at Regional Trial Court, Ninth Judicial Region, Branch 20, Oroquieta City under
Criminal Case No. 04-05-001, dated June 26, 2017.
