GUIDELINES FOR CHEMISTRY INVESTIGATORY PROJECT- GRADE 11

• Students are entitled to submit Chemistry Investigatory Project [a part of CBSE Curriculum
– Chemistry Practical Examination].
• Students can plan for an investigatory project of their choice either in a group [max three
students] or as an individual and execute it in the laboratory.
• Guidelines for the investigatory project and list of suggested experiments are attached
herewith for your reference.
• The investigatory project should be linked to one of the Sustainable Development Goals
(SDG) and elements of art integration.
• Investigatory project would be highly appreciated if the work is authentic.
• The experiments and other activities related to the project should be executed in the
laboratory only under the supervision of a teacher.
• Students are instructed to select an investigatory project of their choice and can submit an
abstract (rough draft) of the same before executing the project.
• Minimum number of pages: 20 ( Typed on A-4 size paper)
• Font: Calibri Size: 14
• The Final draft to be submitted as a soft copy.
