- Text book (Pg 20 &21) - Ss will be able to distinguish different sorts
- Activity book (Pg 16 & 17) of books and talk about the story - PPT preferences. - Worksheets - Ss will be able to express likes and dislikes using these phrases. (I’m keen on.../I’m really into…/ etc..) - Ss will be able look fro similarities and read for specific details. - Ss will be able to give opinions about what they read. Warm Up Introduce or Model Guided Practice Independent Practice Assessment Section 1 (Reading different sorts of books) Ask ss what sort of books Ss bring in their favorite do people read and what books and share what do they read for fun. they can read in that book. Write a list of books people read.
Show the pictures of
different books and ss identify what books are they (comics, factual books. Encyclopedia, history, futuristic, etc…
Section 2 (Describe things from books and find for specific details)
