Energy Challenges – Its Effects on Business

ENERGY RELATED FAILURES

OPERATIONAL FINANCIAL REPUTATION SAFETY AND COMPLIANCE

• Operational • Lost revenue • Adverse • Non-compliance

downtime • Increased customer Issues
• Damage to energy costs relationships • Threat to life
equipment • Drop in company • Brand/reputatio or safety
• Loss of value nal damage
inventory

Trigeneration – An Efficient Energy Generation Concept

WHAT IS TRIGENERATION

• Trigeneration is a process by which Electricity, Heat and cooling produced

Production
Direct

simultaneously.
Power
• When waste heat is used for heating and cooling, thermal efficiency can
reach up to 90 percent.

• This high conversion rate suggests that tri-generation reaps its greatest
benefits when scaled to fit facilities where electricity, heating and cooling
Single Fuel
Source - are needed constantly.
Gas
• This is ideal for facilities such as 24-hour industrial parks, certain
Steam Chilling
commercial building blocks, or even hospitals that operate all day.
