There are two issues addressed in the documentary film. The Illegal use of Social Media
platforms for Personal Gain and The Illegal Exchange of Babies and Money. Utilizing social
media platforms to deceive and benefit from others is rampant. As shreds of evidence
discussed and gathered, there has been illegal deals between sellers and buyers on social
media, what’s disturbing is that it wasn’t things that they’re trading but babies ranging from
hours/ days old to 3 years old and it is wide-spread –indicating that numerous people associates
themselves on the said issues. According to the sellers, they have three motives why they’ve
done it. One, they don’t fancy keeping the baby; two, they are in need of money; and three, they
can’t afford to take care of the baby and thinks they are better off sold than experience poverty
and suffer.

This documentary film has been apprehended and viewed by a vast number of people, this film
has enlightened people and they got to comprehend that there are so many inappropriate
activities that happen around the net particularly on social media. NBI-IOD Chief Ronald Aguto
JR. said that even if you have no malice, you could still be charged under RA 9208 and
Republic Act 7610, the law is very clear that whether you have a genuine or evil intention the
moment you violate this then you still have a case. When you adopt a baby, you need to do it
legally, and we have DSWD for that matter.
