Pearl Lake Protection & Rehabilitation District Annual Meeting June 30, 2012

PRD Chairman, Steve Koivula called the June 30th, 2012 meeting to order. Pledge of Allegiance
was given by all. Attending were Joe Piechowski, Lake Management District and Russ Heiss,
Town of Leon Supervisor.

Sec'y minutes of May 26th were read and approved. Mark Leissring, Treas. gave the treasury
report; checking account $481.00, water quality acct. $57,660.77, toal net worth $58,141.77 as
of June 30, 2012. Discussion followed. Motion by Chuck Johannes to accept report as given,
seconded and passed by majority voice vote. Volunteers for auditing the PRD financial accounts
are Larry Solarz, Alaine Williams with Ed Sheppard, if needed - audit to be done July 7, 10 am.
Secci disk report by Chuck Johannes was 26 1/2 feet as of June 13th. Water quality remains very
good. No fish report until the winter blue gill report is received. Steve spoke on the lake milfoil
& invasive viruses. There is information on the lake web site pertaining to this and also the tree
drop for fish habitat.

Treas. mark Leissring explained the proposed budget for the coming year. Mike Getchius made
a motion to remove the lighting cost project of $500.00 from the budget. Questions and
answers followed. Majority vote on this matter, result being the $500.00 should be omitted
from the budget; following this vote the proposed budget was approved for the coming year.

A unanimous vote was passed for the present PRD commissioners Dave Paulick and Randy
Rucks remain in office for the coming term. Chairman Steve Koivula's term is one more year.

Signs at the public lake entrance need repair. This will be discussed at the monthly Leon Town
meeting.

A gift certificate was presented to Jeff Swenson for his hospitality and use of the pole building.

A motion by Chuck Johannes to adjourn meeting, seconded and passed by majority voice vote.
