lice of the Bresinent of the Philippines PRESIDENTIAL MANAGEMENT STAFF ‘Malacafiang PMS-BIDS AND AWARDS COMMITTEE Resolution No. 08, Series of 2012 RECOMMENDING THE APPROVAL OF THE ANNUAL PROCUREMENT PLAN- B (APP-B) OF THE PRESIDENTIAL MANAGEMENT STAFF FOR CY 2012 WHEREAS, Section 7 of Republic Act (RA) No. 9184, otherwise known as the Government Procurement Reform Act, provides that no government procurement shall be undertaken unless it is in accordance with the Annual Procurement Plan (APP) of the procuring entity which shall be approved by its Head and must be consistent with its duly approved yearly budget; WHEREAS, on 09 February 2012, the PMS Secretary approved PMS-BAC Resolution No. 01, series of 2012, recommending the approval of the APP of the PMS for CY 2012 (Annex A); WHEREAS, Sections 7.4 of the Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (Revised IRR) of RA 9184 provides that the updating of the APP for each procuring entity shall be undertaken every six (6) months or as often as may be required by the head of the procuring entity; WHEREAS, on 08 March 2012, the list of additional items to be procured, which has been approved by the PMS-Executive Committee, was submitted to the PMS-BAC for consolidation; and WHEREAS, the total amount of items to be procured under APP-B is One Million Three Hundred Sixty-Three Thousand Four Hundred Eighty-Three Pesos and Seventy Centavos (Php 1,363,483.70). NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the foregoing, WE, the Members of the PMS Bids and Awards Committee, hereby RECOMMEND to the PMS Secretary the APPROVAL of the attached APP-B of the PMS for Calendar Year 2012 (Annex B).
