MAKING THE PRESENTATION

Having prepared your script, you will need to


practise the presentation. Remember your time
limit, so you will need to ensure that all that you
have to say can be said in three to five minutes
without rushing or dragging it out. You will need
to use family and friends to be your audience,
timekeepers and judges when you are practising.
It is important to get some feedback before you
do the actual presentation, as this will give you an
indication of what needs to be adjusted. Ensure that
you work on your pronunciation of words, your tone,
your pitch and your volume. You want to pause
at the right moments and use the right inflections
for emphasis. Your body language including your
posture, gestures and facial expressions must be
suitable for what you are presenting. The style of
presentation must also be suitable and you must
have eye contact with the audience. Eye contact
is a very important part of any presentation as

that you must know your presentation.
If you even have a cue card to prompt you, you are
not expected to be reading the presentation. This will
certainly hinder your ability to be impactful in your

CIRCLE THEOREMS

We begin looking at circle theorems in this lesson by reviewing the parts of a circle. Following that, we
will look at each theorem before we try to work problems using the theorems.
