Growth Centre Plan of Latur Fringe Area, Latur
Sanction under section 20(4) of Maharashtra Regional & Town Planning Act, 1966
And whereas, the area of Growth Centre Plan of Latur Fringe area comprises of 40
villages surrounding Latur Municipal Corporation and admeasures 27,333 Ha. The Existing
Land Use (ELU) map of entire area was prepared through Geographical Information System
(GIS). Accordingly the Draft Growth Centre Plan of Latur Fringe area, Latur and its report was
prepared with the consent from Joint Director, Town Planning, Aurangabad Division,
Aurangabad.
And whereas, pursuant to above, a notice bearing no. RPLlGCP /226 dated 23/07/2019
under sub section (3) of section 20 of the said Act in respect of Draft Growth Centre Plan of
Latur Fringe area, Latur was published and appeared in the Maharashtra Government Gazette,
Aurangabad Division supplement dated 01-07/08/2019 for inviting suggestions and/or objections
from general public within 30 days from the date of publication of notice in the Maharashtra
Government Gazette.
And whereas, after hearing and considering all the suggestions/objections and after
consulting the Joint Director of Town Planning, Aurangabad Division, it is felt necessary to
sanction the said Draft Growth Centre Plan of Latur Fringe area, Latur with certain amendments.
This Notification shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Maharashtra
Government Gazette.
The Notification along with sanctioned Growth Centre Plan of Latur Fringe area, Latur
and its report shall be made available for inspection to the general public during office hours on
all working days at the following office.

This Notification and the copy of the sanctioned Growth Centre Plan of Latur Fringe
area, Latur and its report are also available to download at www.latur.gov.in.
