COURSE INFORMATION
1. Course Number : CBM 121
2. Course Name : Strategic Management
3. Course Description : The course emphasizes the value and process of strategic management. In addition to
familiarizing students with new subject matter, students are expected to integrate and apply their prior learning to strategic
decision making in organizations. The Strategic Management course is designed to explore an organisation’s vision,
mission, examine principles, techniques and models of organizational and environmental analysis, discuss the theory and
practice of strategy formulation and implementation such as corporate governance and business ethics for the development
of effective strategic leadership.

5. Co-requisite : None
6. Credit : 3.0 units
7. Class schedule : 6 hours per week (1 Term)

c. Cheating is strictly prohibited. Any form of dishonesty shall be dealt with accordingly. Honesty is called for at

d. Valid examination permits are necessary in taking the examinations as scheduled. CELLULAR PHONES or
any ELECTRONIC GADGETS are NOT allowed during EXAMINATIONS. Prescribed PRC calculators are
