2. What type of solution is D50.3NaCl? Enumerate its uses.


 Used for fluid and electrolyte replenishment and caloric supply. Maintenance fluid replacement to support
good peripheral perfusion. Fort the other indication is to compensate cellular dehydration and correct
moderate fluid loss.

3. What types of toys, play and activities are appropriate for the client’s age and condition? State your rationale.
 Besides imaginative play, at this stage, the development of cognitive skills is extremely important, so
reasoning and memory games are perfect for helping with brain development. It might easily gravitate towards
simple puzzles or physically engaging obstacle courses that encourage them to learn to work through
challenging situations. Other activities that promote cognitive growth include block play or direction guided
games like hide-and-seek.

STOCK DOSE: Cefuroxime 750mg/vial Dilution: 10mL sterile water for injection
 500/750x10= 6.66mL or 7mL
c. D50.3NaCl 500mL running at 55cc/hr. Compute for how many hours until the IV fluid is completely consumed.
 500/55= 9cc/hr
