Prompt As an instructional designer, it is important that you know the purpose of what
you’re teaching. This week you will put together your unit plan.
Beginning with the end in mind, you will design a student-centered unit. The final
process is creating the unit plan with desired activities and lessons that will help
your learners achieve the goal and be successful on your assessments.
The proposed audience for the unit and the course subject matter should directly
apply to your current or intended professional setting. The course components
you create should have evidence of higher order thinking and authentic
assessments.
You will use the template provided to design your unit plan. The unit should be
over a course of at least 3-5 days. It should include:
1. Goals
2. Learning Outcomes
3. Lesson Outline
