1. State your own view of teaching as a career.

Becoming a teacher gives you the opportunity and privilege of


making an impact on society by shaping the next generation through
providing them the tools and knowledge to form their own opinions, make
a contribution, and influence society in the future. Teachers do much more
than simply teach subject material.

2. Why teaching is considered profession?

Teaching is in fact a profession, because to graduate with a teaching


degree, you are required to be relevantly and formally qualified and to
have completed the appropriate teacher training.

3. Interview a beginning teacher about his/her anxieties, fears as well as his/her


joys and satisfaction.
