Brainware University is now recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The AIU Governing Council in its 349th
Meeting, granted provisional membership of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) to Brainware University, Barasat.
The Pharmacy education and profession in India upto graduate level is regulated by the PCI, a statutory body governed by the provisions of the
Pharmacy Act, 1948 passed by the Parliament. Main objectives of PCI are towards Regulation of the Pharmacy Education in the Country for
the purpose of registration as a pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, and, Regulation of Profession and Practice of Pharmacy
The Bar Council of India was established by Parliament under the Advocates Act, 1961. It performs the regulatory function by prescribing
standards of professional conduct and etiquette and by exercising disciplinary jurisdiction over the bar. It also sets standards for legal
education and grants recognition to Universities whose degree in law will serve as qualification for enrolment as an advocate.
The nursing profession in West Bengal is regulated by the West Bengal Nursing Council, a statutory body governed by the provisions
of The Bengal Nurses (West Bengal Amendment) Act, 1949. The main objectives of the WBNC are to provide safe nursing service to
the public and also to provide a sound, uniform system of education based on scientific knowledge.
INSTITUTION INNOVATION COUNCIL (IIC)
Brainware Universitys Institute Innovative Council (IIC) was established in the year 2018-2019 under the Ministry of Human Resource
Development (MHRD), Govt. of India. The main focus of BWU IIC is to foster a culture of innovation among students.
Formed in 1965, the CSI has been instrumental in guiding the Indian IT industry down the right path during its formative UNNAT BHARAT ABHIYAN (UBA)
years. Today, the CSI has 72 chapters all over India, 511 student branches, and more than 100,000 members, including
Indias most famous IT industry leaders, brilliant scientists and dedicated academicians. The mission of the CSI is to facilitate The Mission of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan is to enable higher educational institutions to work with the people of rural India in identifying
research, knowledge sharing, learning and career enhancement for all categories of IT professionals, while simultaneously development challenges and evolving appropriate solutions for accelerating sustainable growth. It also aims to create a virtuous cycle
inspiring and nurturing new entrants into the industry and helping them to integrate into the IT community. between society and an inclusive academic system by providing knowledge and practices for emerging professions and to upgrade the

ZEE 24 GHANTA
The British Council is recognised across India for its network of eight libraries and cultural centres. It offers a range of specialised projects
in arts, education, English language and society to audiences across India and more than 100,000 members. It also provides access to 24/7 Bengali language regional news channel. It is owned by the Zee Akash News Pvt Ltd subsidiary.

UNNAT BHARAT ABHIYAN (UBA) PERENNIAL ASSISTANCE AWARD
Brainware University has been selected by Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, Ministry of Education for the Perennial fund award of
Rs. 1,75,000/- out of 289 institutes who have applied for effective delivery of UBA mandate crossing three rigorous
stages of the selection process related to Rural Development. Rural development is the process of improving the quality
of life and economic well-being of people living in rural areas, often relatively isolated and sparsely populated areas.
MHRD, Govt. India under its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology, in
association with IIT, Kharagpore, has formed the National Digital Library (NDL) project to develop a digital repository
of learning resources with a single-window search facility.
CHITRABANI
Chitrabani is the oldest media training institute in Eastern India. Chitrabani is recognized by the State Government as a voluntary
educational institution in the field of social communication. According to its founder-director, Chitrabani is more than an academic
institute, and more than a production centre. Through its training, production and research activities, it is a laboratory or experimental
