Technical Specification
SCOPE OF WORKS

1. This specification covers the supply, delivery, installation, testing and

commissioning of 3 sets of individual controlled industrial outdoor ceiling fans
(Refer to Fig 1, Fig 2 and Table 1).

2. The Contractor shall undertake and be fully responsible for the design and
installation of the ceiling fans sets. All wiring and control cables and trunking
system shall be included from the nearby DB as in Table 1. They are to provide a
simple sketch or drawing plus catalogues of their product (Data to be furnished in
Table 2) in their submission of the quotation.

3. The quotation submitted shall include all necessary transport, moving equipment
and scaffolding for the sound erection and installation of the fans on the high
ceiling.

4. The each industrial outdoor ceiling fan installation shall be inspected and tested
with certification by a qualified person. The endorsed document by the qualified
person shall be submitted to ITE for filing and audit purpose.

5. The Contractor shall also be responsible to ensure that the installations shall not
damage any of the physical and structural properties of the building including its
water proofing layer.

6. Upon award, the Contractors shall ensure, provide shop drawings and verify all
parameters of integration with approval by ITE before commencement of
installation.

7. Specification of each industrial outdoor ceiling fan shall include the following:

a. Fan diameter is not more than 8 ft, with 6 anodized aluminium airfoils.
b. 230VAC single phase, 20A.
c. Noise level of < 50dbA.
d. Minimum IP 65 or higher motor of < 1kW, gearless and speed of < 140rpm.
e. Speed controller c/w enclosure of minimum IP 65 or higher.
f. Factory tested with UL 507, CE or other certification and with certification for
the installation by a qualified person.
g. Minimum air displacement (cfm) of 15,000 with a coverage area of more
than 50m2.
h. Fan weight of < 70kg

8. The quotation submitted shall include testing, commissioning and 1-year
warranty of all components on site. A short training on the proper use and
maintenance of the industrial outdoor ceiling fans shall also be provided after
completion of works.

9. Catalogues, brochures, and additional product information shall be submitted
together in this offer, or available upon request within 3 days.

10. Evaluation and recommendation for award to the Contractor for the ITQ shall be
based on the lowest lump sum price submitted and in full compliance with
specification. Contractor shall indicate a lump sum price in their quotation in
GeBIZ.

11. Upon issuance of Purchase Order, the complete supply, delivery, installation,
testing and commissioning of 3 sets of individual controlled industrial outdoor
ceiling fans are to be handed over to ITE CE within 3 months.

Notes:

The whole supporting frame and bracket must be rigid and strong enough to withstand
the operation of the fan at full speed. Additional safety wire suspending rope for the
fan shall be provided, if necessary. Whole installation shall be endorsed by a qualified
person.
