L2=6mH, and M=5mH. Determine the value of reactance X at which the power-factor
of the circuit is unity. Find the value of the element (L or C) also. The supply voltage
is 𝒗𝒔 (𝒕) = 𝟏𝟎𝟎 𝐬𝐢𝐧 𝟒𝟎𝟎 𝒕.

to be ideal), as indicated. Under the following switch conditions, the readings obtained
are:

i) S1 – open, S2 – closed A1 = 0 A, V1 = 4.5 V, V2 = 1.5 V, A2 = 1 A

Determine the Z parameters and ABCD parameters of the network.

Q 8. In the circuit shown below, the switch is closed at t = 0. Find the expressions for the 5
current through the inductor for IL(t). Also find the value of L (H) for which IL(t) is
critically damped and the new expression for IL(t).

Q 9. For the circuit shown below, write the branch i-v relations. Express them in the 5
