Precast Concrete was established in 1968 and has

grown to become Queensland’s largest precast
concrete manufacturer, specialising in high-quality
architectural finishes.
We supply products to all areas of Queensland, New
South Wales and the ACT.
In 2006, Precast Concrete invested in a state-of-
the-art Hollowcore facility to produce prestressed
floor planks with spans up to 18 metres. This allows
us to offer customers a total precast package for their
projects, including walling, flooring and structural
products.
Manufacturing is carried out at our Carole Park plants
(6 hectares in total) where we have the capacity to
produce 80,000 m2 of walling, 150,000 m2 of flooring
products and 70,000 m2 of civil and infrastructure
products, per annum.
Precast Concrete employs a staff of approximately
90 personnel comprising engineers, architects,
tradesmen and skilled labour.
We operate a Quality System to AS/NZS ISO
9001:2000.

MISSION STATEMENT:

Portfolio of Precast Projects
St Patricks, Parramatta
A n arson attack in February 1996 opened the way
for St Patrick’s Cathedral to be divinely transformed
into a magnificent blend of old and new. In a
resurrection of some precision, the project involved
refurbishment of the heritage-listed cathedral, the
construction of a new precast concrete 800-seat
cathedral, a new cloister and a parish hall.
A project of such magnificence inherently requires
exacting detail.

In addition to the Polished Precast Panels to the New Cathederal and

Associated Buildings, Precast Concrete Products Pty Ltd produced the Entry
Steps to the Refurbished Cathederal.
