NOTIFICATION
The 5th August, 2019
No. FOR (Env)-37/2017/Part/13920-14070.—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (e) of section
64 of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 (6 of 1974), the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh
is pleased to amend the Arunachal Pradesh State Pollution Control Board (Qualification and other Terms and
Conditions of Service of Chairman) Rules, 2018 (herein referred to as Principal Rules), namely -
1. Short title and commencement : (1) These rules may be called the Arunachal Pradesh State
Pollution Control Board (Qualification and other Terms and Conditions of Service of Chairman)
(Amendment) Rules, 2019.
(2) They shall be deemed to have come into force on 20th September, 2018.
2. Amendment of sub-rule (1) of Rule 3 : In the Arunachal Pradesh State Pollution Control Board
(Qualification and other Terms and Conditions of Service of Chairman) Rules, 2018, in Rule 3, in sub-rule
(1), for the words “under clause (a) of sub-section 3 of the Act” appearing after the word “Chairman” and
before the word “unless”, the words, “under clause (a) of sub-section (2) of Section 4 of the Act” shall be
substituted.
