B. REASON
Further to a customer request, this Service Bulletin provides instructions to install a third
Audio Control Panel (ACP) for the observer.
COMPLIANCE: Accomplishment of this Service Bulletin is optional.
C. DESCRIPTION
Accomplishment of this Service Bulletin consists in carrying out the following jobs:
(1) In zone 213, on 80VU, removal of lining panel
(2) In zone 211, installation of bracket and junction box for hand microphone
(3) In zone 211, installation of new routing

(FIN 5204VF)
(5) In zone 210, modification of 11VU
(6) In cockpit, on 81VU shelf, replacement of remote control audio unit (FIN 1RN)

(8) In zone 213, installation of hand microphone (FIN 8RN3)

The following instructions assume that work will be accomplished when the aircraft is in
the appropriate maintenance configuration.
B. JOB SET-UP
(1) De-energize the aircraft electrical network and connect the aircraft to ground as per
MP ATR-A-24-4X-XX-00ZZZ-561Z-A.
(2) In forward cargo compartment
(a) Remove nets and posts as per MP ATR-A-25-54-20-02ZZZ-520Z-A.
(b) Remove rack 80VU lining panels as per MP ATR-A-25-13-10-01ZZZ-520Z-A.
(3) In flight compartment
(a) Remove Captain seat as per MP ATR-A-25-11-10-00ZZZ-520Z-A.

NOTE: At each wire installation, the following instructions must be observed:

Cut the wires to the necessary length, crimp the terminals and connect
accordingly.
Perform continuity test of the new wiring.
Attach with cable ties as per MP 20-21-21.

(1) Verify that tests required by maintenance documents

E. CLOSE-UP
(1) Make certain that the various working areas are clean.
(2) In zone 210, in nose gear wheel well, install the door 811.
(3) In flight compartment
(a) Re-install floor panels 211JF and 211KF.
(b) On panel 20VU, close panel 21VU.
(c) Re-install:
