Fun Facts about Universal Studios

Universal Studios' history stretches back into the 1930s and beyond. It's one of the oldest working
movie studios in Hollywood today, although it wasn't until 1964 that the studio got the idea to turn it
into a full-fledged theme park with attractions for the entire family. Throughout the park, you'll see
over twenty characters randomly roaming the grounds, including animated characters like Curious
George, Dora the Explorer, and Spongebob Squarepants. There are even some real-life characters
from Universal Studios' past, including Marilyn Monroe, Groucho Marx, and Lucy Ricardo. Other
characters include Frankenstein's Monster, Count Dracula, and the Mummy characters. Don't get
scared!
