Shipment clearance to be obtained from DGDP after furnishing the Quality
Assurance Certificate by Quality Control Department from supplier's

b. Whether pre-shipment inspection done or not done, all items and spare
parts must be shipped and supplied along wlth the equipments as per contract
specifications. lf the supplier fails to supply as per contract specifications then
supplied equipments has to be replaced at the cost of supplier and also
complete performance guarantee (PG) and agency commission will be forfeited
in Government account .

B. lf any supplied item is found not as per contract during Post-shipment

inspection, it will not be accepted. The supplier must take back the item at their
own cost.
9 Paikinq/M_arkinq. As per lnternational standard trade packing & marking. lt
will be done by the firm so that the store will not be affected with sea water and
damp weather during transportation. Preservative material (anti saline/anti-rust
material) such as wax, grease etc as required must be coated on the surface of
the equipmenuitems (as applicable) for safe transportation by sea, Rail, Road
or Air. Marking must be done clearly in English Language in each
containeripackages for easy identification of the store mentioning the contract
No. and name of consignee. Container/boxes must be strong enough to bear or
withstand the load of contained materials during transportation. All packages
will be marked f BD Army with the following particulars :

b. Name and address of Consignee : Commandant, Central Mechanical

Transport Depot, Dhaka Cantonment, Bangladesh.
c. Full nomenclatures of ihe equipmenUDetails of the equipment are to be

packaqes. For example 1/100, 21100 and so on.

17 Warrantv/Guarantee.
a. Foreign supplier (Manufacturer/Principal and local agent ) should
furnish a certificate mentioninq with offer and store as under :

(i) We hereby give warranty/guarantee that the stores/spares

supplied are new in accordance with the specification applicable
to the respective vehicle's/equipment's. The materials used are in
accordance with latest appropriate standard specification
complete of good workmanship throughout and also
interchangeable with originally/previously fitted respective
storesispares" We hereby give warranty/guarantee that the
stores/spares supplied will fit in the respective place of above
vehicle'sieq uipment's.
(ii) lf any defecUdiscrepancy arises during fitting in the respective
vehicles/equipment's after receipt of stores by consigneeiuser
unit, the whole stores or part there of (as applicable) will be
replaced free of cost (C&F/ClF/FOB Dhaka as the case may be)
within three months after establishment of discrepancies. These
discrepancies may arise whenever the stores will be fitted with
applicable vehicles/equioments.
b. Local aqent. Local agent should also furnish a certificate
mentioning as "lf the stores are not fitted in the respective
vehicles/equipment's then the spares will be replaced free of cost (ln
DPL-15)',.
18. The equipment as received at the consignees end will be inspected
by IV&EE in presence of representative of consignee, local agent
and Sadharan Bima Corporation (Surveyor). The local agent must
repair/replace any defecVdamage or pilferage. occurred during
