ECL SAP PP Process Do’s & Don’ts

Do’s

1. Only 1 monthly process order will be created for a particular technology.

2. Start date & end date for the order must be the 1 st day and last day of the month.
3. Some mines have created their process orders with start date not equal to the 1 st day of month.
So, to fill the back dated data, they have to create another process order with start date as 1 st
Aug 21 and end date before the start date of the old order.

For example, if you have created the 1st order with date as 05.08.2021 to 31.08.2021, then you
cannot fill PI sheet for 1st Aug to 4th Aug. So you need to create another process order and give
the start & end date as 01.08.2021 to 04.08.2021 and then only you can fill the back dated
entry. If you have already done GR for back date, then no need to do GR again and you need to
just complete the PI sheet entry.

4. For coal, if there are different grades available for a particular mine, then more than one process
order needs to be created per technology and monthly target.
5. Please ensure to select coal grade/ batch from the available options in process order instead of
manually typing the grade/ batch by yourself.
6. If any mine has created multiple orders for a month, then they must cancel the duplicate
order(s) by following the below steps:

Go to transaction COR2 and put the duplicate order number and click enter  Click on “Process
Order” menu bar from the top left corner  Click on Functions  Click on Restrict Processing 
Click on Complete Technically.

Attached report shows details for duplicate orders mine wise and also shows which orders start
date is not 1st of Aug 2021.

7. Please ensure to click on “Unlimited Overdelivery” checkbox under “Goods Receipt” tab to do
GR which is greater than the monthly target quantity.
8. Please ensure to create shift note immediately after confirmation of order for that day and shift.
9. Please ensure to fill PI sheet data very carefully without making any mistakes due to rush.
Don’ts

1. If there are no production activities happening for a particular date and shift (Drilling, Blasting,
loading & hauling) and production is zero, also no resources are operational along with no
departmental labors are assigned in that shift, then there is no need to enter PI sheet data for
that shift.

2. Do not do MIGO for zero production. System will not allow you to do that.

3. It has been identified that some mines are not following the shift and relay combination
properly. Please note that shift 1 means SF1, shift 2 means SF2 & shift 3 means SF3. Request you
to kindly adhere to this. Please do not consider A, B & C as shift 1, 2 & 3.

4. While filling blasting data, if stock holes are not getting recalled, then do not enter other details
like for example, holes charged, holes damaged, stc and saving it. Please immediately contact
us.
