The verb be indicates

a state. We use it to describe
someone/something or give You are happy. You are not sad.
information about it. For this He is happy. He is not sad.

Ex 4: Rewrite the sentence by using the opposite adjective and changing the form of ‘be’ (+/-).

Try to use subject pronouns in place of the nouns, and you can use contractions if you have studied them.

Example: The girl is not asleep. She is awake. Example: The ball is big. It is not small.
