The deepest need in this love language is to feel appreciated. A person feels more loved by
humble words and other tender words that come from someone who loves him or someone special-
through verbal compliments, encouragement and words of appreciation. For instance, Kiara excels at
school so she receives good compliments from her teachers, friends and most of all from her family
which caused her great happiness and to feel so much love.

Quality Time

In this love language, a person feels more love from his partner when they do even the simplest
things together. Simply talking, looking to each other and sharing the simplest thing in life will do. For
instance, Mathew is working at their office while his wife stays at home and doing the household chores,
every dinner his wife wait for him so that they will eat together and during weekends they will go to
groceries and spend the day together.

Receiving Gifts

Receiving Gifts love language shows happiness and feels loved every time he receives a gift from
his partner or special someone. It does not matter if it is big or small, expensive or cheap as long as it
comes from our loved ones. For instance, Valentines Day is coming soon and many couples around the
world are waiting, Wykes is used to giving chocolates and flowers to his girlfriend because he knows that
this is one of the many reasons and ways for his girlfriend to feel how much he loves her. He realized
that it was due to a long time they spend together, his girlfriend felt more loved every time he gave her
something.

Acts of Service

In this love language, individual feel more loved if his/her partner is putting so much effort in
doing things for his/her lovers. They believed that action speaks louder than those sweet words.
Initiating actions will satisfy them more than hearing flowery words. For instance, Kale Cortez and
Andrew prefer to spend their Valentines Day at home rather than spending a large amount of money in
a fancy restaurant. Andrew will do cooking of their food while Kale Cortez will massage her partner after
doing the chores. In this way, they express their love to each other and feel loved in just simply putting
little effort for each other.
Physical Touch

Individual love to receive a hugs, kisses, lay on their lap and anything that is something to do
with physical touches. They feel loved by means of receiving those touches from their lover. It is more
powerful than any sweet words. And for instance, the result of the finished test by Zack and his
classmates came out, he did not expect that he would not be able to pass it as he expected so he was
very upset and remorseful. He was immediately comforted by his classmates but it just seemed to pass
beyond his ear, in the next class his beloved was also there and she immediately hugged him causing
him to reduce the weight he felt after failing the exam. Zack and his beloved just show that he is much
more fell comforted whenever he receives hugs, kisses and other physical touches.
