Fats:

The only fat found in both of our food products of choice is Saturated Fat. Saturated Fat
is considered a "bad" fat because it can cause things like high cholesterol, which can become
more severe and cause heart disease. Although this is true, it doesn't mean that we should stop
eating fats all together because a healthy diet must consist of a small amount of fats to keep our
energy levels healthy. A healthy amount of daily fat intake would be 25-35% of the percent daily
value and you should have less than 7% saturated fats. If you're wondering how you can get the
proper amount of fats without eating saturated fats, there are fats like monounsaturated fats and
polyunsaturated fats. Monounsaturated fats and polyunsaturated fats are found in most vegetable
oils like, safflower, sesame, soy, corn, olive and peanut oil. Monounsaturated fats are also found
in avocados.

I would not recommend eating potato chips in a nutritious daily diet but as an occasional
snack, I think Lays Baked Potato Chips would be a healthier choice compared to Ruffles Plain
potato chips because it has less than the amount of recommended saturated fat and Ruffles has
more than the amount recommended.
