Introduction

Background of the Study

On job training or ojt training where in students do the actual job. They would be learn in a
practical way and they would be enhancing their skill sets which are needed for emply
ability. On the Job Training or Practicum is a compulsory on most schools in the world. It is a
way to apply and to utilize the knowledge learned from the past. It is believed that learning
within the borders of the school when working. It could be excellent if applied in the real
world of work. On the Job Training or Practicum is also a way to let students be ready on the
real world of work, exposing them on the possibilities and letting them experience how it
feels. OJT’s would also help them to understand what are their real strengths and
weaknesses. Student learn, discipline, organization and people skills while the train out in
the workforce. On job training is also supervised by real employees in real life in work
situations, anything happen, and student must learn “on their own feet” sometimes student
will adjust to working, invaluable experience that they can take with as they move forward
with the future careers and education. There specific number of hours that students must
fullfil while on their traning activities. On the job training is significant because it takes skill
training into the realworld and teaches student to produce in a different environment
students may pick up new skills they can use for a purposes. Many students may continue on
with an employer after on the job training ends, Leading to a successful new streaming of
income. Most importantly, On the Job Training or Practicum is a big thing for the student. It
is where they can really realize if they are really fit on their course, and if they really want
that certain chosen field of career. It is also an outlet to build oneself. You can gain more
self-confidence and self-esteem. More than the learning you can acquire the discipline and
values you can get from the people you work with and the experiences that would teach
you essential things. It is also a way to develop your social abilities in a way of gaining new
friends and knowing new people in the work place. By such means as well you can learn to
adjust with the different and diverse attitude of workmates. It would be easy for you to
adjust in the future.
Statement of the Problem

In this study the goal is to answer the following Questions.

1. What is the importance of work immersion?

2. What are the reasons why grade 12 students need to do OJT?
3. How do the skills of grade 12 of SPCT developed trough work immersion?
4. What is the advantage in work immersion?
5. What are the effects of OJT to the SPCT Students?

Objective of the Study

The purpose of this research is to explain what is the importance of the On the Job
Training to students, And to enhance their skills. This is also intended to know more
about OJT.

Significance of the Study

The researchers of this undertaking to make significant contribution to the better

improvement and further development of the On the Job Training program. To the
student whor are enrolled in SPCT will give the brighter understanding and deeper
awareness to the different factors that would affect their On the Job training
performance.The results of this Study will help the SPCT students improve specific areas
amonog themselves to become professionals.

Scope and Delimitation

This study will be limited only to assess the factors that affect the On the Job Training of
SPCT Students
