Today technology made a big impact specifically on mobile phones, they help our daily
lives to make it easier. Mobile phones are used in various ways such as for communication,
entertainment and for source of information like announcements in news. They serve as a
bridge to connect us with our families or other relatives, or to gain more knowledge. Acquiring a
phone at an early age proves that there are a wide array of benefits ranging from
communication to emergency purposes. It also gives the opportunity to users to feed their
inquisitive nature. The use of phones can be for educational and communication purposes with
a bit of entertainment that does not meddle with the way of their thinking and views of other
individuals. The impact of smartphones is visible in all areas such as school for education,

Twitter, Facebook and etc. In conclusion, mobile phones have become a necessity. Cell phones
help us to stay connected with others and provide the user with a sense of security. They
include security apps that allow you to see your children’s whereabouts on a local map and alert
them in case of an emergency of what happened to them. In the event of emergency. Therefore,
having a cell phone at a young age can help us to reach you quickly and could possibly save
lives. With this purpose, the researchers aspire to answer the following questions in this study:

1. Why are phones so much more important to the children of this younger
generation compared to those of previous generations?
2. How can having and using phones at an earlier age positively impact the lives of
the children?
3. Why do older generations think that phones/technology is bad for the newer
generation?
