Refund Rules: The Schedule of refund of fees will be as follows as per UGC rule October 2018:
If a student chooses to withdraw from the program of study in which he / she is enrolled, the institution concerned shall
follow the following five-tier system for the refund of fees remitted by the student.

In case of (1) in the table above, the deduction will be 5% of the fees paid as processing charges from the refundable
amount, subject to a maximum of Rs 5,000/-.
Note: The above refund rules are subject to revision as per UGC notification (as applicable).

1. Introduction:

This gives information about the Admission Procedure for the following School / programs / campuses.

Specialization will be allotted as per the merit and preference/s mentioned in the registration form for initial
two round of admission
 Thereafter, since round-3; Specialisation will be allotted at the time of admission counseling
based on merit.
 Note: NMIMS reserves all the rights to alter number of Specialization at any point of time.

3. Eligibility criteria (fulfilling all / applicable conditions mandatory):

3.1 Candidate must have passed 10 + 2 or equivalent examination from recognized board including International
Baccalaureate Diploma with English as compulsory subject with science or vocational science, minimum 50%
marks in PCM for Mumbai / Navi Mumbai / Indore / Hyderabad campus & 45% marks in PCM for Shirpur
campus. Those awaiting their 10+2 or equivalent examination result this year may also apply AND candidate
with IB Diploma is eligible only if he / she has offered Mathematics at Standard Level (SL).
OR
Candidates passing Diploma Engineering with Minimum 50% is eligible to apply.
3.2 A candidate who has passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB
Certificate with PCM Compulsory) & DP awarded candidates with 24 credits compulsory and has passed
minimum 3 subjects at Higher Level (HL) and minimum 3 subjects at Standard Level (SL) mandatorily from
any stream.
3.3 Candidates of CBSE & ICSE should mention in online registration / e-admission form (if selected) 10th / 10+2
or equivalent aggregate marks of all subjects for which candidate has taken & appeared for (not best of
Four, Five, Six or Seven). The candidates shall have passed all the subjects taken & appeared for in the
applicable examination/s. The aggregate percentage of all subjects for which the candidate has taken &
appeared will be taken into consideration & PCM % for confirming eligibility of the candidate for the
program.
3.4 In case the mark sheet issued by the applicable Board / Institution is in percentile/s, the actual aggregate
percentage of all the subjects appeared by the candidate will be taken into consideration.
3.5 Candidate above 25 years of age are not eligible to apply.
3.6 For IB & Cambridge Candidate: Candidates called for admission counseling on the basis of NMIMS-CET merit
list & who have not received final marksheet till then will be given Provisional Admission based on predicted
score. Fees will be accepted from such candidates but their admission will be confirmed only on submission
of final marksheet before the commencement of the program if found eligible.
3.7 Submission of AIU equivalence certificate to confirm the eligibility for the program is mandatory for those
candidates who have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination from overseas board / Universities
3.8 Those candidates who have passed, or, are appearing for 10+2 examination from a Board / University where
Grade Point Average is given, such candidates must produce in writing from the Board / University
concerned, the equivalent percentage for the GPA / CGPA obtained.
3.9 Candidate whose final marksheet is not available at the time of admission is required to upload internet copy
of result duly attested by Principal of the school / college, failing which candidate will not be admitted.
3.10 Only single marksheet with all compulsory subjects taken / opted and passed will be considered.
Compartmentalized marksheet/s will not be considered.
3.11 Candidate will not be eligible if any subject is marked as ungraded / fail in the marksheet / grade sheet. For
absent / Ungraded in any of the additional / non mandatory subject will be consider as eligible provided such
candidates is declared as pass by respective board. As per program eligibility the mandatory subject should
appeared and passed.
3.12 Candidates appearing for their final 10+2 or equivalent examination can also apply, provided they obtain the
required minimum cut off marks and also produce all the necessary documents, in original, within the given

stipulated time.

4. Selection Process:
 In Round-1 & Round-2, Merit list of MPSTME / STME Programmes will be prepared on the basis of the
performance of NMIMS-CET & the preference/s given at time of registration only.
 In Round-3 onwards, candidates will be given admission to various disciplines as per their merit, choice
and availability of discipline at the time of counseling as per eligibility criteria.
 The decision of the institute will be final in this regard and no inquiries or correspondence in this
regard will be entertained
Note:
 Candidates are required to update 12th or equivalent exam or predicted marks in registration form.
 Candidate will not be considered for merit list if they fail to update the same in online registration
form.
 It is the sole responsibility of the candidate to ensure that correct marks are entered.
 At any given point of time if it is found that the information given by candidate i.e 12 th or equivalent
exam is incorrect, the candidate admission will be cancelled and fees will be refunded as per UGC
guidelines.

Important instructions
 All eligible candidates who wish to apply for admission to B.Tech. / MBA Tech - Mumbai, Navi Mumbai,
Indore, Shirpur & Hyderabad will be required to appear for computer based Test to be conducted at various
locations in India.
 In Round-1 & Round-2, Admission offer is given as per the merit/preference and vacancy available.
WAITLISTED candidates have to check the subsequent merit list status as per the date given on the website.
SELECTED candidate should upload necessary required documents at the link provided in the admission offer
letter, and after verification of the documents, the candidate will get the payment details (RTGS/NEFT
details) for the payment of course fees within the stipulated time frame.
 After Round-1 & Round-2, whatever seats are remaining will be open for couseliing i.e Round-3.
 The couseling call letter / admission offer letter will be put up on the NMIMS website as per important dates.
The decision of the institute will be final in this regard and no inquiries or correspondence in this regard will
be entertained.
 Merit list will be prepared on the basis of the performance of the candidate in NMIMS-CET.
 For Round-3 (Couselling), Candidates may be called for counseling session at Mumbai, based on the merit
list. Candidates are required for admission process in person for counseling session. Candidates should carry
the Demand Draft / Pay order of eligible course fees. The payment details will be mentioned in couseling call
letter.
 In the counseling session candidates will be given admission to various disciplines as per their merit, choice
and availability of discipline as per eligibility criteria & vacancy.
 Do not plan travel on same day during counseling date.

7. Important instructions:
 Candidates will be offered Programme/Campus based on the availability of seat, candidates merit rank, choice.
 Changing of branch and campus will be considered as per preference, merit rank and availability of seat after
the admission granted to particular branch/campus till course commencement only.
 Change of campus & program is not allowed after commencement of the program.
 All matters of dispute will be subject to the legal jurisdiction of Mumbai only.
