I. SPOT ROUND ADMISSION UNDER DASA/CIWG SCHEME 2023 at NIT CALICUT

Applications are invited from interested candidates, who are registered with DASA-2023 counseling for
spot round admission for B. Tech./B.Arch. under DASA/CIWG SCHEME 2023 at NIT CALICUT, Vacant B.
Tech /B. Arch seats under DASA/CIWG scheme at National Institute of Technology Calicut as on 24-08-
2023 are as follows:

For the participation in NITC DASA SPOT ROUND 2023, Registration fee of Rs 2000 mandatory for all applicants

IV. CHOICE FILLING, DATA ENTRY AND DOCUMENTS TO BE UPLOADED
Applicants, who are are required to carry out the data entry, choice filling and upload scanned copy
of documents listed below in the portal available at following link before 28-08-2023 (Monday) 8.00 pm.

On clicking on the above link, NITC DASA SPOT ROUND portal login page comes up, first time required to
click on “Register” to start the registration process, which is basically to register an valid email ID, which is
to be used as login ID and to create confirm a password. Confidentiality of Password is solely the
responsibility of the Applicant and all care must be taken to protect the password. of Password is solely the responsibility

Following is list of documents, scanned copy of which has to be uploaded BEFORE 28-08-2023 (Monday)
8.00 pm.
1. Relevant Pages of Candidate’s passport and VISA in a single PDF file (Nationals of Nepal who
do not have a passport, copy of Authenticated Citizenship Card needed to be submitted) or
PIO/OCI card as applicable
2. 10th standard/Matriculation or equivalent certificate or any other certificate issued by
government authorities, as proof of date of birth and Name of Candidate).
3. Mark sheet/grade card and Pass certificate (if issued separately from school) of the qualifying
examination (As single PDF file).
4. Proof of Payment done to DASA 2023.
5. Certificate from the school studied as proof of completion of 11th and 12th in case of
candidates whose final results are awaited (as per the format in Appendix II of DASA
Information Brochure- 2023.
6. JEE 2023 Score Card issued by NTA.
7. For candidates who are Indian citizens, certificates proving that he/she completed 11th and
12th from an institution abroad (as per Appendix IV of DASA Information Brochure- 2023), if
it is not clear from the School Leaving / Transfer Certificate
8. Candidates, whose eligible category includes CIWG, the proof that either of the parent is
working in gulf country will be:
(a) Passport and Visa of parent working in the gulf .
(b) (Parent’s Work Permit (If any)
(c) Certificate from the company/organization as proof that parent is working in gulf countries
as per Appendix III of DASA Information Brochure- 2023
(Merge all a,b and c as single PDF file)
9. NITC DASA SPOT ROUND Registration fee Receipt from SBI collect.
Note: i) If any certificate is in a language other than English/Hindi, an English version of that certificate
attested by a Gazetted Officer/Competent Authority should be uploaded compulsorily, along with
scan copy of original certificate in a single PDF file.
V. SELECTION PROCEDURE
The selection for branches in Engineering stream will based on on the JEE (Main)-2023 Paper 1 rank and
for branch in Architecture stream will based on the JEE (Main)-2023 Paper II rank. All guidelines issued by
DASA 2023 will be followed for the spot round admission. After the provisional selection of the candidates,
the selection list will be announced on NIT Calicut website on or before 30-08-2023, 5.00 pm. Hence the

candidates are advised to see the Institute website regularly for any updates.

The schedule of physical reporting for allotted candidate is on 04-09-2023, Time 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, Details
of institute and hostel admission, payment procedure for hostel fees and balance Institute fees will be
communicated to provisionally selected candidates through the registered email ID of the candidate. Detailed
information sheet for physical reporting of provisionally selected candidates will also published on NITC
website.
