Just to let new parents know that the Cárta program has been running successfully in Clonmoney N.S. for the past number of years. It is aimed at reducing the financial burden on families whose children are invited to classmates birthday parties. In lieu of a present, a small monetary gift of not more than €5 in a card is suggested.
Participating in the Cárta program is on a voluntary basis and entirely at
the parent’s discretion but the Parent’s Association would encourage all parents to take part.
For those who wish to participate:
a) on written invitations print the word ‘Cárta’ at the end of your
invitation.
b) for text message invitations type the word ‘Cárta’ at the end of your message.
