Practice Task 2. Justify

In order to obtain the correct data you would need, it is important to define analysis
methods. For instance, in any case, you need to know the person's background, you won't use
experiments, but then you can use an interview to get the data. There are variables for each
distinct study design that will assist and impact the subsequent studies. Having an in-depth
understanding about it will make you data gathering a lot easier and more efficient.

Task 2. Analyzing Data

The findings of the survey performed on the views of teachers perceived by fifty-one
students in Grade 11 and 12 as seen in Table 1. Based on the table, 32 out of 51 informants
perceived that some of their teachers had long-term patience, 34 out of 51 replied that their
teachers care for them, 31 out of 51 informants considered their teachers as having a kind
personality, 40 out of 51 informants see their teachers as committed to teaching, 24 out of 51
respond that their teachers are enthusiastic, 18 respond that some of their teachers are
punctual.
On the other hand, teachers even have an adverse attitude that they can improve
somehow. As seen in the table, 3 out of 51 informants noted that some of their teachers lacked
confidence in teaching, 29 perceived some teachers as strict, 2 informants found that there
were arrogant teachers, 30 out of 51 perceived some of their teachers as having a standard
level, 6 out of 51 students view their teachers teaching nonchalantly, and out of 51, 4 students
have found that some of their teachers are still late in the classroom.
The outcome shows that 67% of informants report that teachers have favorable
behaviors and that their teachers have negative insights from the remaining 33%. In favorable
attitudes, the researchers have found that 78% of the informants replied that the teachers'
commitment to teaching is the highest percentage, next is the teachers' care for the students
with 67% responses. Third is the teachers with long-term patience with 63% responses. Fourth
in the list is having a kind personality with 61%. Then 47%, in which the teachers are very
enthusiasm on their work. And lastly, 35% of the students agreed that their teachers are
punctual. Thirdly, with 63% responses, teachers with long-term patience are Fourth in the chart,
with 61%, is a kind personality. Then 47%, of which the teachers are enthusiastic about their
task. And eventually, 35% of the students accepted that their teachers were punctual.
In the unfavorable attitudes of educators, a fixed standard level is the most perceivable
attitude with 59%. Next are the teachers with strict attitude with 57% students agreed. Then,
12% responded that there are teachers that teach nonchalantly. And 8%of the students agreed
that some teachers are late comers. Last on the list 6% agreed that teachers lacked the
confidence to teach inf front of a whole class.
The results showed that the students are aware of the behaviors and characteristics of
their teachers and wished that some of them to improve on their jobs as professionals. Some of
the students stated that the attitude of the teacher drastically affects the flow of the class and
hinders the learning process from the educator.

2.
Qualitative data analysis is made up of words, observation, images, and symbols to
come up with a statement. This statement relates the relationship of data to each other. It finds
the pattern of the data through observation and it includes on transcribing the data. It is needed
to analyze the representation of the results in out research in which we will be collecting our
data in terms of using surveys. The results would be analyzing through the representation and
finding pattern to come up with the final statement.
LEARNING CHALLENGE
Task 1. Defining Interpretation of Data
Data interpretation refers to the implementation of processes through which data is
reviewed for the purpose of arriving at an informed conclusion. The interpretation of data
assigns a meaning to the information analyzed and determines its signification and implications.
The importance of data interpretation is evident and this is why it needs to be done
properly. Data is very likely to arrive from multiple sources and has a tendency to enter the
analysis process with haphazard ordering. Data analysis tends to be extremely subjective. That
is to say, the nature and goal of interpretation will vary from business to business, likely
correlating to the type of data being analyzed. While there are several different types of
processes that are implemented based on individual data nature, the two broadest and most
common categories are “quantitative analysis” and “qualitative analysis”.

Task 2. Defining Presentation of Data

Textual – Raw data with proper formatting, categorization, indentation is most extensively used
and is a very effective way of presenting data. Text format is widely found in books, reports,
research papers and in this article itself.
Numerical – Data in the form of digits or numerical form have a significant value. It is often
combined with text form to be put to use but it has meaning and value of it’s own as well.
Numbers also form the basics of computers and the binary language, thus can be used in a
variety of ways.
Image or Pictorial – Image can be considered as another form of data since it can also be
processed. Depending on the imagery it can be used either as raw data or processed data.
Locational or Spatial – Spatial data is based on location. It is used to store the geographical
location of a place, event, monument or any other thing to which location can be attributed.
Maps – Various types of maps are available and used all over the world. Maps are now not
restricted to showing geographical boundaries and hold much more value now. They help in
presentation data such as topography, pollution levels, heat, demographic data, thematic as
well as temporal changes.
Other Types – Apart from the types mentioned above, there are several other forms as well
which are independent type or a combination of such types of data. These can be in for of
signals, special codes, encrypted data, symbols, markings etc.
