1 Basis of Design

The designers of record (Architect, Structural Engineer, Civil Engineer, Mechanical Engineer
and Electrical Engineer) shall provide their understanding of the basis of design. The basis of
design shall be read by the Government Commissioning Representative (LEED Requirement).
The Government Commissioning Representative shall sign each basis of design verifying
compliance with the requirement.

4.1(d) Insert Mechanical Basis of Design.

4.2 Design Narratives

The designers of record (Architect, Structural Engineer, Civil Engineer, Mechanical Engineer
and Electrical Engineer) shall provide their understanding of the design narrative. The design
narrative shall be read by the Government Commissioning Representative (LEED Requirement).
The Government Commissioning Representative shall sign each design narrative verifying
compliance with the requirement.
