EVALUATION (isuwat sa CA Paper)

I.
1. How does a good Christian family become a witness to the world?
This evangelical Christian and his family believe in displaying our faith in the following ways: a. The family
routinely attends Sunday mass together, as least as often as work schedules allow. We have ways to motivate
other believers and testify to guests (neighbors) in that environment as a result of this. When we engage with
others on a regular basis, we show Christian ethics and make it clear that our views are Christian. Essentially, we
live by the Golden Rule and share it with others without continuously proselytizing or creating a nuisance of
ourselves. This is especially essential at work and in social settings with non-Christians. We reach out to others,
especially strangers, through missionary work and other possibilities. We welcome both neighbors and
strangers to our church. Simply, we want to spread the word about our religion.

2. What are the important things that a good Christian family has?
Every family has the ability to become a Christian family. The term "Christian Family" refers to a family that
pleases Christ and adheres to his teachings. A Christian family who knows, fears, and serves Christ. A family
that teaches the Lord's ways to his children and generation. First and foremost, a Christian family serves. A
Christian family works together to serve the Lord. God cannot bless a home that does not serve Him. Second, a
Christian family searches for God. As the old adage goes, a family that prays together stays together. When we
seek God's face as a family, we will all develop and delight God together. When you get closer to God as a
person and as a family, God will draw closer to you. We become closer to God when we pray. Third, a Christian
family expresses the truth. Whatever the scenario, always tell the truth and urge the family to always speak
nothing but the truth. Fourth, a Christian family demonstrates unfailing love. Marriage is a wake-up call, but love
is eternal. A Christian family does everything with love, if at all possible. Lastly, a Christian family is bound
together. In any family, unity is vital. Separation results from division. Any family that is divided drowns. There
are many important things that determines a good Christian family but one thing is for certain, as long as Christ
is being centered in the family, then everything else will follow: love, truth, respect, and the influence to other
family.

3. What is the role of parents in the family and importance of their fidelity to their vows?
The parent's role is to encourage, assist, and give access to activities that allow the kid to master essential
developmental skills. Because the family is a child's primary social group, it has the greatest impact on their
learning, socialization, and religious devotion. Parents must support and assist their children. The child's initial
role model is his or her parents. Children interact, react, and imitate in the same way as their parents do. Parents
have a vital role in inspiring and encouraging their children to learn. A kid that receives strong parental support
is more likely to be positive, healthy, and a lifelong learner. Fidelity entails abstaining from physical touch, but it
does not end there. Fidelity also refers to a husband and wife's total devotion, trust, and respect for one another.
Interactions with another individual that are inappropriate might undermine faithfulness. “It is extremely
necessary for love, trust, and tranquility to be faithful to one's marital vows. The Lord categorically condemns
adultery. Husbands and wives who love and trust each other will find that their feelings are reciprocated. This
love will provide a caring environment for children's emotional development. Strict faithfulness in marriage is
required to uphold the commitments we have made with our spouse and the Lord.

II. (sa CA Paper gihapon)

Having the Holy Spirit come into our homes is the key to strengthening our families. Our families'
objective is to stay on the straight and narrow road. Everything else falls into place when God is at the
heart of the family. Having God in the family does not imply that there will be no issues, but it does mean
that God will always be with us. Another method to enhance family relationships is to open out to one
another and not hold grudges against one another. As a result, our heart is free of bad feelings and emits
pleasant ones. And lastly, by giving unconditional love, we also receive unconditional love in return,
because we are family. That means, that with faith, openness, and love, I believe I can make my family work
and even stronger.
III. PRAYER (isuwat sa first page sa reflection notebook)
Father in Heaven, King of kings.
I appreciate you for the gift of family
That you have bestowed upon me.
Thank you for providing me
Grandparents, parents, cousins, uncles, and aunties.
Thank you for keeping us safe and alive
Amidst the predicament we are all in.

I am on my knees, pleading your assistance

To bring my family together, with love and unity.
I wish that your love keeps us together
Constantly, in good times and bad times.
Lord, please intervene and keep us together
Remove any trace of envy from our hearts,
Let us be there for one another.
Allow your Holy Spirit to teach us
Christian ways of life
That foster peace and harmony among us.

We rely on Your serenity, Lord

Which transcends human comprehension
Let us be united and strong
For love to flow among us.
This all we ask in Your Mighty name
Jesus Christ our Lord, AMEN.
AMEN.

REFLECTION: (isuwat sa reflection notebook)

“There is nothing outside a person that by going in can defile, but the things that come out are what defile.” This certain
line hits different especially when we are talking about the rules of society. We frequently live by tradition, which gives us
a feeling of continuity with the past and fosters a sense of community. However, fossilized traditions may occasionally
supplant live traditions, diverting us from what is vital in our beliefs. This is what Jesus said to his fellow Jews: you believe
your wonderful people because you follow all the rules concerning exterior things but don't care about their spirit. Jesus
preaches a religion that is based on the heart. He is not concerned with exterior objects, which cannot corrupt a person,
but with what is in our hearts, which is the cause of our deeds. I remember an Aunt of me who is a Born-Again Christian,
when she was asked why she is eating pork – we believe that Born-Again are not allowed to eat pork – she only replied
“What goes in our body is not dirty, what goes out is what is impure. Things such as food, oxygen, water, are what goes in
our body, and all of those are clean and pure. But Carbon Dioxide, Urine, Feces, are things that comes out our body, and
are dirty.” That “dirty things that goes out our body” also means the action we do when we are mad, the words we
distortedly spread, and many more. Just like a man with tattoos doesn’t necessarily mean a bad guy, and a man in formal
attire doesn’t always mean a good guy. And that is what God wants us to realize, that outside looks don’t matter, but the
inside is.

Recreation is a healthy alternative for positive behavior, which leads to opportunities for learning and living a
balanced, productive life.
Before pandemic, me and my parents don’t have much quality time together because most of the days I was at
school and they were at work. When pandemic came, we don’t have quality time either because even when I’m at home,
both of them are busy with work to help us get going in this new normal. I was so happy with this activity as it allows us to
have some time together as a family, having fun and laughing.
Doing indoor recreational activity with my parents and cousins helps our bond get stronger as we share the same
emotion throughout the activity. We laugh, we bond, we make fun of each other playing Jenga, and it was a really fun
game especially when played with little cousins who are not that careful in taking the Jenga pieces out. We also watched
a teleserye in the television, which my mother really loved.
It was soothing and relaxing to have fun with family members once in a while. It was comforting to see them smile,
see them enjoy, and also allowing myself get loose. Doing this, I realized that as we youth are busy growing and aging,
we didn’t realize that our parents are also getting older. With this activity, I get to spend time with my family and I get to
show them that I love them.
