INTRODUCCION
For this research we chose to make a bibliography of the
character of Carlos Slim.
Carlos Slim Helú is a Mexican businessman and engineer
of Lebanese descent who is one of the richest people in
the world, during a period of his life he began a strategic
expansion by acquiring undervalued and poorly
managed companies to help them improve their
finances, investing in the real estate sector as well as in
construction and mining equipment companies, and
later including a soft drink company, Loreto paper mills,
a tobacco company called cigatam and retail stores.
For this bibliography we are going to show in these 21
points his life throughout the years that he has lived so
that we can know what he has worked on.

Antonio-For this project I found out who Carlos Slim is, I
am surprised by all that he has done and is still doing,
since he has gone through many things from an early
age, such as studying while working, among other things
that I was able to investigate, I found out that his father,
Julian Slim Haddad, died when Carlos Slim was still very
young, but he was still able to learn about business at an
early age, something that his father had taught him.
Then, another part of his life that caught my attention
was all the companies he created such as America
Movil, Grupo Financiero Inbursa, Telesites, Fomento de
Construcciones y Contratas, S. A. And besides these, he
had a marriage with Soumaya Domit, with whom he
collaborated to create Grupo Carso and Inmobiliaria
Carso, although unfortunately he passed away in 1999, it
seems that Carlos Slim has been a widower for a little
more than 24 years.
But the part that caught my attention the most was the
awards he has won throughout his life and other
collaborations he has done and how he has helped
mexico and/or latin america by creating companies or
giving services to improve the region as with
aprende.org to give free education and training, and
well Carlos Slim was not a person that I knew a lot of
things in general.
Aaron- Well for this job we had to investigate who Carlos
Slim is, the things he has done throughout his life and
with which he has managed to be the person he is
today, I learned that his father owned a prosperous
business. I realized that since I was a child, he already
had his interests marked since at the age of twelve, he
already wrote down his investments in bonds in a ledger
and was clearly in favor of compound interest. He
studied to be a civil engineer, he did his studies at the
National Autonomous University of Mexico, where he
taught the chair of Algebra and Linear Programming, I
also knew that with the inheritance he was given he built
a multi-story building where he lived with his wife and
children . I also learned that Carlos Slim is president of
Grupo Carso, which is present in almost all sectors. Like
his father, who made his fortune buying properties
cheaply, Carlos combines the ability to get bargains with
a sense of patriotism. I also realized that according to
Forbes magazine, his fortune ranked him as the richest
man in the world with this I realized that one can
achieve everything that is proposed and that you have
to be constant in what you propose and it may be
possible.
Delia- With this first evidence I learned a lot about a
great businessman who I had already heard his name
and you had heard some things he had done but I had
not realized how important he really is, I think Mexico
should be proud of having this type of such intelligent
people and thanks to this task I realized and informed
more about the life of Carlos Slim
Sonia- In this evidence we met some of the most
important companies in Mexico and other countries but
the one that I and my colleagues leaned towards was
Carlos Slim.
Carlos slim is one of the richest in the world thanks to his
incredible way of managing his businesses, from an early
age he has been in many events and although he has
gone through unfortunate cases he has always come
out ahead thanks to his family. He is currently a Mexican
businessman and engineer. He is the fourteenth richest
man in the world, since he owns assets that amount to
73.9 billion dollars.
