 INTRODUCTION
Welcome to this first evidence, in this work we will talk about one of the richest people
in Mexico, Latin America and the world in general, since he owns assets of over
84,300 million dollars, we are talking about Carlos Slim Helu, a Mexican
businessman and engineer who owns several companies in Mexico, United States,
among others.

The history of the Slim family in Mexico dates back to 1902, when Carlos Slim's
father, Julián Slim Haddad, at only 14 years of age, without speaking Spanish,
arrived in Mexico from Lebanon, fleeing from the yoke of the Ottoman Empire.

Today we will talk a little more about Carlos Slim's life, his career and why he is one
of the most powerful people in Mexico and the world, as well as his 10 companies in
which he has had a stake or owns.

In conclusion I learned that Carlos Slim is one of the richest people in Mexico since
he is a businessman and engineer, it makes him one of the richest people in Mexico
thanks to the fact that he owns many companies such as Grupo Carso, Telmex,
Grupo Sanborns , America Movil, among others, is also recognized for giving
donations to different foundations. He has also helped with the issue of the covid-19
vaccine at the beginning of the pandemic. As well as one of the largest donations he
has is 1,978 million pesos for the reconstruction derived from the earthquakes that
hit Mexico in September. In addition to the fact that he formed the Carso real estate
company in 1966. Another thing he did was that he acquired the Telmex company
in 1990 since with it he made his way through the communications industry and it
was from then on that it began to grow exponentially his fortune. Another thing I
learned was that he has been very supportive in all areas of health, education,
environment, employment, economic and social development, road safety, human
development, support in disasters (as I mentioned earlier in the subject of the
earthquake of the month of September in Mexico). So in conclusion I learned a lot in
this evidence.

To conclude, I want to mention that in this work we were making a timeline where
we were talking about Carlos Slim Helú. It was a good way to describe the
aforementioned character, we present some of his most important events, which he
has done throughout his life. Carlos Slim Helú is a Mexican businessman and
engineer. He is the twelfth richest man in the world, as he owns assets amounting
to $84.3 billion. We were also presenting some of the activities that Slim did, as well
as the dates of his most important events. From a young age he began to invest in
the purchase of businesses. In 1997 he acquired shares in the Apple company, and
acquired Prodigy, an American Internet provider where he managed to make this
company a powerful server of various Internet services until he achieved.
Second richest man in the world. Identify the motivations for starting his first
company, and the sources of the idea. This is a unique person in the workplace since
he has certain characteristics that differentiate him from the others that make him
grow professionally the leadership employed by Slim is based on austerity,
negotiation, flexibility, both inside and outside the organizations that he drive.

I have no doubt that Carlos Slim has well deserved his position as one of the most
powerful businessmen in the world, he is a unique person in the work environment
since he has certain characteristics that differentiate him from others that make him
grow professionally. Slim's leadership is based on austerity, negotiation, flexibility,
both inside and outside the organizations he manages. He is a person with the
capacity to make each and every one of his employees enthusiastic without the need
to make a boom in this point, because he offers to give them the position that each
one of his collaborators and employees wants to obtain, which makes them show
interest in their work. He helps each and every one of them to be able to perform the
tasks with the best possible training and commitment. He has an innate talent for
business, the use of good contacts, perseverance, optimism, courage and a pinch
of luck may be some of the necessary ingredients to achieve it. In spite of his great
fortune, those who know him personally define him as a humble, austere and
discreet man.

In conclusion, everything that Carlos Slim has done has been seen that he has done
important things in all environments, as well as in business or in society, he is a man
that in some things is to follow his example, everything that has been given to him
as well as recognitions are well deserved, his way of being has helped him to be
positioned among the richest in the world, and he has also become a person to follow
for some people, who want to become what he is today. All the companies that he
has made in his branches have been of great importance and also he has positioned
himself in the first places, his foundations have supported too many people, also as
we saw he has investments in different foreign companies of which he has
succeeded in a good way in the investments he has made in order to increase his
money. He has shown that being Mexican has no impediment to become what he is
today, that we can all become great businessmen if we propose it and follow a good
path, it is clear that we must always help those who have less and if you become a
good businessman help that change in society and the environment.

In this evidence I obtained a great knowledge about the businesses as the beginning
of the chosen entrepreneur how it was to see how following his most important steps
how he was developing all his businesses from his beginnings until a little more
recent this work helped me to see all those progresses among many other things.
This work helped me to be able to expand my knowledge of these topics and also to
be able to relate other concepts which I investigated and thus be able to reach more
knowledge on these topics. This will mean that when I have to relate this issue to
work, having my knowledge expanded knowing that a person like Slim who built his
own path is where he is now is for me a great motivation when it comes to facing the
challenges that await me Well, he is a great influence for young people like me and
a great example in general to be able to achieve what your own goals are and never
give up, just like Slim, having someone like that besides being Mexican is a great
motivation. English was developing and learning new words which I did not know
before and how it will manifest itself in what I was learning in the realization of this
evidence.
