Responsibilities:

1. Technology Integration and Support


 Provide ideas on how best to deliver a topic online
 Explore possible platforms to simplify and enhance learning
 Render technical support to teachers and referrals to parents/students
 Propose/discover hardware and software “solutions” to common issues

2. Parent/HIVE! Home Supervisor Orientation


 Prepare Program for Parents’/Guardians’ Orientation
 Prepares for General Assembly and calendar for the week with the class advisers
 Inputs for Parents (deputizing them as HIVE! Home Supervisors; online dangers; data privacy,
Oath of Integrity Parents)
 Identify needs of parents to better supervise their children

3. Learning Pack (HIVE! Bag) Preparation and Release /Pick -up


 Design learning bags and t-shirt for the school year
 ID and supervise how kits will be distributed
 Making sure kits are free from possible contamination and are available on-time
 Basic Kit (flag, prayers of 4 TA saints, images of Crucifix, Mary and Fr. Poveda, Invocation of the
Year in all languages, birthdays of classmates, basic greetings in all languages, ID with lanyard for
parent/HSS, ID with lanyard for child)
 Learning Bags and Labels

 Session “Surprises”. Lookout for integration… advocate integration; Organizes celebrations
 Calendaring (requirements of kit, release and dropping off, preparation of materials for inclusion
in HIVE! Learning bag for the incoming session…) and dissemination to school community
 Follow-up before each session purchases for inclusion in The HIVE! Bag

4. Student Orientation Week and Recognition Day


• Prepare materials, videos for morning routines (eg. GA script/s, Prayers, Pambansang Awit,
Panatang Makabayan, Panunumpa sa Watawat, Dabawenyo Song)
• Conceptualize hype for First Day High and Orientation Days/Week schedule, content/flow
• Homeroom and Classroom Routines
• Welcoming back the students and the new members of the community
 Prepare certificates and program for Recognition Day

5. Support for Students on Modules and Home Visitations


 Assists the advisers in making sure students on modules are adequately looked after
 Follows-up students who are having difficulty in class and visits them in their homes, if needed

6. Admissions and Assessment


 Recommends and implements the set of policies and timetable for the screening and
admission of students;
 Sets criteria for admission;
 Deliberates on the results of admission tests and submits the lists of recommended students
for admission to the School Director; and
 Evaluates admission policies and practices, and recommends the necessary revision to the
School Management Team.

7. School Information and Marketing


 Provides timely and accurate information from the school to the general public
 Manages and updates the school’s Facebook account;
 Disseminates information on school announcements such as suspension of classes, activities,
feasts, etc…
 Markets the school’s mission and vision to attract students whose parents desire a Povedan
education for their children

8. Disaster Management and CoViD19 Response Team


 Conceptualizes, plans and implements programs and activities aimed at preparing each
member of the community to respond appropriately in times of emergencies – natural or man-
made;
 Develops and maintains a disaster/emergency contingency plan
 In the event of a disaster/emergency, puts to action the plans and makes sure each member of
the community is accounted for and looked after and school property and premises are safe

 Manages the Implementation of the GUIDELINES on WORKPLACE PREVENTION and CONTROL
OF COVID-19 (ITEC, Inc (SPPC) Health, Safety and Security Protocols in the New Normal)

9. Emergency Response Team (in case of Fire)


 In the event of a fire, puts to action the plans and makes sure each member of the community
is accounted for and looked after and school property and premises are safe
 Supervises drills in coordination with the Bureau of Fire Protection

10. Drug-Free Workplace Assessment Team


 Implements the Drug-Free Workplace Policies and Programs of the City Government of Davao
(Ordinance 0506-13)

11. Child Protection (Anti-Bullying Committee)


 Supervises the implementation of the school child protection policy and plans to ensure the
safety and protection of students
 Initiates information dissemination programs and organize activities for the protection of
children from abuse, exploitation, violence, discrimination and bullying.
 Develops and implements a school-based referral and monitoring system
 Establishes a system for identifying students who may be suffering from significant harm based
on physical, emotional or behavioral signs
 Coordinates closely with WCPD of the PNP, DSWD and Barangay, when needed

12. Moving-up and Graduation Ceremonies


 Conceptualizes and plans the activities in compliance with DepEd requirements
 Prepares the program and ensures the smooth flow
 Makes sure logistical requirements and arrangements are in place

13. Joys and Cheers (Birthdays/Educators’ Day/Christmas)


 Drums-up awareness of birthdays being celebrated in the community
 Plans for community celebrations
